AnonymousThompson still young at heart, will knock out Fury also Posted March 4, 2013 1:09 amhotpotI am from Liverpool and the fans are totally deluded here… I keep hearing that David Price is a nice guy… WTF has that got to do with it… Mayweather is a cunt .. but hes a great fighter.. Hence, what type of person you are doesnt make any difference. The truth is price is 29 years old and he was fighting an old fat guy .. he got hit with a mediocre shot and he was gone… same thing happened to him in the Beijing.. He is chinny, fights like an amateur, and is heading down the fraudley route… People always point to lewis getting knocked out when he was younger… and wlad getting knocked out… they dont say for every lewis and wlad there are millions of fighters who get knocked out and there knock outs generally serve as proof that they wont make it to the top… Khan got knocked out.. but he has excellent boxing skills and speed to fall back on… price doesnt have these qualities… I am 99% certain that he will never get past domestic level. I cant believe people compare him to fury… fury is much younger.. and early in his career was obese and careless and got put down a few times… no he is fitter, stronger and has fought at a much higher level than price and displayed an array of skills in the ring… Fury will fight for a world title… not sure what will happen .. Posted March 1, 2013 11:52 pmBoxtradamusTell em AGAIN Frank! Pacquiao tried to impress the fans and got knocked out!! Posted February 24, 2013 7:18 pmfranknicholas thats when wladimere became a very sucessful heavyweight champion when he started caring more about winning the fight then impresses the would be fans because when you get koed trying to hard and leave youself open there going to leave you any way . .the important thing is to win the fight your in. look great the next time. this is something floyd mayweather andre ward and wlad klitchko realize and are often critized for but it works for them f Posted February 24, 2013 6:56 pmAnonymousI don’t think it is chin problem. He didn’t see the punch coming. He could try for a rematch. It would be interesting! Posted February 24, 2013 3:20 pmDick BulgerPrice got rolled. Wasn’t even a solid power punch. I think Price just might be history now. Good win for Thompson, congrats to Tony. Maybe he gets a shot at Vitalis or Povetkin and make some retirement cash. I don’t think Tony wants to see Wlad in the ring again. Tony is now the Official Gate Keeper. Posted February 24, 2013 2:36 pmBoxtradamusNope. Thompson shocked the Boxing AMATEURS. One #0 P4P Fighter just beat another. Where’s the shock??? Posted February 24, 2013 1:45 pmCrusher from the EastPrice is garbage. Posted February 24, 2013 12:08 pmMotivatoranother example of a British Horizontal Heavyweight ! – now, after Thompson picks up another year of age and rust, the Klitschkos will be telling us what a tough opponent he will be for them … Heavyweight Boxing is DEAD, killed by the oversized freak boxing imposters Posted February 24, 2013 12:07 pmLightweight MikeHelenius would be his best bridge for a title shot. But the Finn must have Vlad’s mouth watering. Posted February 24, 2013 11:35 amAnonymousprice left himself opened for the knocked outi think deboy fight is still possible for correction Posted February 24, 2013 11:17 amgiraffe legsPrice is and has always been an average boxer. I can only imagine all the sad idiots weeping who believed in him. Posted February 24, 2013 10:19 amWolfI exp0ected Thompson to be the toughest test to date for Price but never expected him to knock him out or win the fight. I would like to see him get one more big fight whether it be Povetkin, Fury or maybe even Vitali. Posted February 24, 2013 9:42 amnammprice is just another macca… thin face = glass chin. once exposed, always exposed. he’s not vladimir to come back stronger, he doesn’t have an older brother to push him to success like vlad… it’s over price(ed). IT IS FINISHED! Posted February 24, 2013 8:53 amAThe ‘chin’ wasn’t the problem. It was the lack of defence. Hope Price knows he can come back from this. Because he can. Confidence, time, experience, and more training. Posted February 24, 2013 7:08 amHoldolDon’t think it really SHOCKED the world David is still a 16 fight novice after all,it was just a bit of a surprise.I’m a fan of price and think he will come again but I’m now not sure how far he can go at world level, fair enough it was an unseen shot that got him but it wasn’t a thunders HW punch and he was all over the place im afraid a clean shot off any level HW and he would be out cold. Posted February 24, 2013 6:47 amThe voice of reasonWow – im eating my words big time!! – This is a bad, bad night for price. Thompson has never been noted as a banger. He can bounce back i guess, but i have a feeling this will damage him mentally very badly Posted February 24, 2013 6:41 amrodI THINK PULEV HAS THE BEST CHANCE RIGHT NOW, HE CAN BOX SMART AND BRAWL. TOO TECHNICAL AND HARD FOR FURY. I CAN SEE HIM BREAKING THOMPSON DOWN OVER SEVERAL ROUNDS THE WAY HE BROKE DOWN USTINOV AND DIMITREKO. I’VE BEEN FOLLOWING PRICE FOR YEARS. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUX Posted February 24, 2013 6:15 amrodI’M SO PISSED OFF. THAT DWYER PREDICTED THIS AND EVERYONE THOUGHT HE WAS MAD. HE FREAKING GETS IT RIGHT. I HAD HIGH HIGH HOPES FOR PRICE. FURY IS SO UNCOORDINATED AND HAYE JUST WANTS TO LOSE OVER THE DISTANCE FOR MONEY. ONE MORE CHANCE PRICE. TAKE ON PULEV, HELENIUS FURY AND PROVE THEM WRONG. Posted February 24, 2013 6:12 amPuncher007What a big puss!!!!! Tony the tigress has never been impressive, Price must be an idiot!!! Give it up!! Posted February 24, 2013 5:32 amAnonymousWhen was the last time we had a polish heavyweight champ…thats right never…lol. Posted February 24, 2013 1:37 amnicolasPrice did win the first round, so it is not like he was falling all over the place. Price said he did not see the punch coming, and that is quite often I have read is the punch that can really hurt you, as it did Price. I felt earlier like writing something like Price should be more concerned about just winning the fight, not trying to outdo the Klitschko’s. He should have wanted to go into the fight confident, but not over confident. So many people were critical of him for fighting Thompson, forgeting however that Thompson was even at this time probably the best he had gone to face. I myself had felt that a Price victory which I felt was most likely was going to be interesting because we would wonder how his performance would compare to Thompson. Well now we know. Posted February 23, 2013 11:06 pmterror timYea of course you were’t shocked, that is why we see all your posts about Thompson winning before hand. I thought this was a big step up but after the weigh in thought he was mailing it in. Posted February 23, 2013 10:57 pmTigerI wasn’t that shocked. Price was a hype job. Posted February 23, 2013 7:39 pmAlonzoThis sucks bad! What a waste of a title shot. How could David blow it? Posted February 23, 2013 7:22 pm |
