Posted February 26, 2013 6:11 pmBlack MagicHe fought Ortiz and Cotto 8 months apart, and then went to jail for 60 days. He also fought Mosley and Marquez 8 months apart. i dont think it is THAT unfeasible for this to actually happen. Posted February 26, 2013 5:11 pmBlack MagicCotto was the #1 ranked super welterweight. Baldomir was the #1 ranked Welterweight. Ortiz was #2 behind Pacquiao after he beat Berto. Castillo was #1 at lightweight at that time. The only time he didnt fight the #1 was at 140. I am not sure who was #1 during the DLH fight, but only an idiot would pass up a shot at Oscar, i dont give a damn WHO else was out there, you take that payday. Posted February 26, 2013 5:09 pmPacroid exposerThat list is B.S ,Floyd said if Trout is available he`ll fight him and he said if Canelo is available that he would fight him.The list was obviously written by some Floyd hater or some clown looking for hits. Posted February 26, 2013 11:58 amAnonymousTrout will beat Canelo, but the judges will score it a draw if it goes the distance. Posted February 26, 2013 3:19 amseanif trout looks good against alvarez he will be floyds new pacquia to avoid Posted February 25, 2013 10:47 pmThe PrinceYou guys need to get over it. Castillo took his shot and came up short. If he was so much better than Floyd, why did he lose the rematch? If Castillo dominated Floyd so much during the first fight, you’d think he’d been able to KO Floyd in the rematch. Like Cory Spinks lost to Judah after that epic ring entrance in his home own, if you miss your shot at greatness, that’s it. Castillo’s whole career is filled with missed opportunities. None of which are Floyd’s fault. Posted February 25, 2013 10:38 pmAnonymousFloyd’s resume “destroys” the resumes of Duran, Leonard, Hearns and Hagler??? You’ve got to be kidding me. They all fought each other, sometimes more than once, unlike today when Floyd and Pacquiao can’t get 1 fight signed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Mayweather, but it’s nonsense to say his record or resume is that much better than those listed above – Hagler alone is considered one of the best middleweights of all times, and Leonard is or should be on everyone’s all time P4P list. Floyd hasn’t gotten there quite yet. Posted February 25, 2013 9:45 pmprmagnumFloyd could last freaking round with this fighters! go eat your cherrios dummy! Posted February 25, 2013 9:39 pmInevitableTruthThe judges called the second fight fair/closer they made a huge mistake in first bout & knew it. Posted February 25, 2013 8:19 pmLeeCanelo won’t even be on the list after trout beats him. Trout will dominate canelo, only the judges can save canelo. He hasn’t fought twice a year in how many years. All of sudden at 36 he wants to fight like his young. Remember that time doesn’t wait for nobody. Anyone can become old overnight. Sr is not going to change anything. Posted February 25, 2013 6:54 pmBoxtradamusCan you imagine Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler beating 9 CHAMPS in a 10 Fight Span or 4 Top 10 P4P Fighters in a 6 Fight Span??? Well IF you can GOOD for YOU. Because that is the ONLY way they’ll ever DO it. In YOUR imagination….The GOAT thing about Floyd is that you don’t have to imagine because he DID it. Floyd’s resume alone DESTROYS all of these Fighters. Posted February 25, 2013 6:46 pmhecdogCan you imagine Duran, Leonard, Hearns and Hagler having to face an old Cotto, old Moseley, Hatton (ha ha), old De La Hoya, Baldomir (ha ha), Judah (ha ha), Gatti (very very tough and limited fighter). Floyd has a long long way to go before being mentioned in the same sentence as these true ATG. Mayweather would would have been destroyed by all these guys. Posted February 25, 2013 5:11 pmBoxtradamusIF Canelo LOSES to Trout then Trout will get the Fight. Hopefully the WINNER can enter the P4P list SO Floyd can beat 5 Top 10 P4P Fighters within a 7 Fight Span. WOW. Posted February 25, 2013 4:35 pmBoxtradamusMayweather is the current GOAT and Broner MAY become the future GOAT just as I predicted!! Not Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Robinson, Chavez, Monzon, and so on have EVER faced and/or beat 4 Top 10 Fighters within a 6 Fight span. WOW!! And also none of them have faced and/or beat 9 CHAMPS in in a 10 Fight span. WOW!! Broner has ALOT to live UP to and I can’t wait to see if he can match it! No one has THUS far. Posted February 25, 2013 4:32 pmHaimatMayweather will most definite step in the ring with Canelo. That fight makes all the sense in the world. Canelo is the biggest Mexican name. He’ll bring huge PPV numbers. Floyd is all about the $. I doubt that he’ll step into the ring with another black US fighter such as Alexander. The fight wont happen if it doesn’t make sense as far as money goes. Posted February 25, 2013 4:21 pmIt’s Me ErnieMayflower will NEVER step into the ring with Canelo… Posted February 25, 2013 3:50 pmhecdogPathetic list of possible fights. Mayweather is so smart when it comes to choosing and carefully picking his battles. He knows how to make money, which is always good, but he will go down as a good champion that ducked all the good ones. He’s so scared of Manny Pacquiao that it’s laughable. He wants no part of Martinez, GGG Canelo (he won’t fight him), Broner and of course Pacquiao. He will never be alongside such greats as Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Robinson, Chavez, Monzon, and so on. Mayweather is a very good fighter but never had the confidence to take on bigger challenges. Looking back on his boxing record clearly shows he only fought one guy that was very good and in his prime, and that was Diego Corrales. Castillo was truly robbed of his victory, then you have a list of fighters that weren’t very good. They were exciting like Gatti, but limited in their skills. Chop Chop Corely, old Cotto ,Sucker punched Ortiz, fabricated fighter in Ricky Hatton, Old Oscar De la Hoya and the list goes on. This is reality. Floyd had his chances, but he was out for the money and wasn’t as confident as he seemed. He is helping out fighters like Ishe Smith, so good for him. He will never live down the excuses for not fighting Manny Pacquiao. He really blew that one because he could have made more money in that fight than in any of his previous fights, so that tells me that he was plain scared. Broner has now taken over, and will accomplish more in the future. He’s a young skilled fighter that has it all and fights everyone. He ducks no one. Posted February 25, 2013 3:02 pmE in DenverAn ok list considering Top Rank won’t be involved. Guerrero & Alvarez at the top of the list. Angulo looks to have deteriorated since his incarceration & the absence of Beristan from his corner. But Angulo is a big puncher who can work that body a la Foreman vs. Ali. A vulnerable opponent but a physical fight if nothing else. Maidana has made fundamental improvement w/ Garcia but is still a plodder. Garcia has the best resume & seems just above ordinary but you can’t argue his record. Alexander will fold like origami. Khan would be a better opponent. This list could be worse, Malinaggi could have been on it. Posted February 25, 2013 2:58 pmJoethis makes no sense, so what happens if maidana, angulo, canelo, etc. all lose in this time span? obviously the market for these fights disappears…i can understand that these fighters may be on the radar, but i dont believe its already set in stone Posted February 25, 2013 1:47 pmRapidOne8GTOH Saul Alvarez is trash he probably shouldn’t even be on the list, Hell i’d prefer he fight Sergio Martinez than that bum who is hyped by the way..and also Alfredo Angulo yea you can tell this was a personal article Posted February 25, 2013 12:42 pmChicago guyIn my opinion Alvarez is more dangerous opponent than Pacquiao and i don’t believe that Fraud will fight him(Alvarez) Posted February 25, 2013 12:26 pmCheese cake in MontrealPretty sure it is not true. Posted February 25, 2013 12:22 pmChicago guyThey are all chumps with no achievement to their resume but i respect Alvarez is included in the list but no way that he can get a break to kick Fraudie ass. Very dangerous for Fraudie’s zero record. He will not gamble it to alvarez. Alvarez name is just a hype to be included in the list and afterward Alvarez opportunity will be buried in limbo by Fraud excuses to fight him.
