KOrnermanannon that’s what I was saying on another post, he has got him self a bit of a rep for backing out big fights at the last notice now be it his fault or not, his opponents will soon want a no back clause written in to fight contracts from now on haha. Posted March 5, 2013 7:37 amAnonymousMr nice guy Groves throwing belts in bins faining injury to get out of Anderson rematch and now selling tickets for one fight only to fight on a different bill in a different city at at 4 days notice, ginger tosser. Posted March 5, 2013 3:42 ammejaFuck Groves Posted March 4, 2013 1:04 pmbronersboner.groves doesnt exactly look excited does he. Posted March 4, 2013 11:56 amKOrnermanfight with Brian Magee would be good,he has fought most all of the top SM’s and would be a good yardstick fight, and we all want to see the Anderson rematch. Posted March 4, 2013 9:33 amKOrnermanThe one negative in all this is that he has now garnered a name for himself of backing out big fights at the last moment. Posted March 4, 2013 9:27 amBox SmartGroves is above British level he’s now a world class fighter he needs world class oponents to progress not domestic tomato cans Posted March 4, 2013 9:10 amMick the MarmalizerI’ve also heard that Groves is fighting on the Froch/Kessler undercard, which is good news as he’s just been too inactive. He lost a lot of my respect for binning the Lonsdale belt(if in fact he did). So I’d like to see him regain that & win it out-right. More fights overseas wouldn’t go a miss either. As Commonwealth champion there’s no reason why he can’t defend in Australia, Canada or South Africa. He’s also still #1 contender for the EBU title, so there’s another option. What with the talent @ 168Lb right now he could well be involved in some serious scraps this year, but hw needs to remain active! Posted March 4, 2013 7:44 am |
