At least GGG is calling out every so called champion….we is willing to fight 4 times a year….what about the other champions…..it is like it is…..GGG`s the most avoided fighter im MW….

This is a bad matchup. Ishida has no chance in hell of winning.

stupid loser

GGG, with his defense seems to be a bit over rated, but fun to watch in the ring. He should of course win this fight.

Titopa:
Of course, you “forget” to mention that GGG has been calling out ballerina Martinez . Martinez is offically under a fighter protection program….

“Stop running from the guys who actually won their World titles and get in the ring with them. What a joke Golovkin is to any sensible boxing fan.” – You must’ve forgot. GGG has been calling all the belt holders at 160 and his fellow title holders either give up belts or pretend he doesn’t exist. Until someone wants to unify he’s simply keeping busy, which is better than not fighting at all.

Ishida better not bet the bank on that.

FEARS

This is a pointless fight for GGG. Being a beltholder with his big money fights being just around the corner, he needs to be preparing himself for the top tier MWs, and fighting Ishida is not going to do it. Ishida is a Jr. MW with WW power and light years away from Maravilla, Chavez Jr., Lee, Sturm, Quillin and such. Not much to watch here.

I think GGG is a good fighter, but a tad overrated….I mean, who has he beaten to think he can handle someone like Martinez?? He’s good but has some defensive flaws that will be exposed if/when he ever faces someone in the top 5. I see Chavez Jr. easily over powering him and guys like Geale out boxing him. I want to see him in with a top 10 middleweight before I can say he’s being “ducked”.

Betting on your skills against Golovkin? That’s like betting on your speed against Floyd.

GG is very good. I guess this bout is to see if he can stop Ishida. Do not see any other reason for this,

Ishida is going to end up on his back on the canvas, counting stars, just like most of GGG’s other opponents. GGG is a highly skilled boxer. He uses his feet very well, has strong legs, and as we all know, KO power with both fists. There is no skill that Ishida has that GGG won’t overcome.

why bother making this fight

I think Ishida lasts around 5 rounds max, time to fight the other champs Gennady.

It’d be awesome if Golovkin and Sergio Martinez would fight.

Goddamn it I’m tired of Nobuhiro Ishida. I can’t stand it when these guys have one win that shocks everyone and then build a career off it. By all means let people fight him but believe me, people can see that big 8 in the L column and when you easily beat him nobody’s going to go “Oh my God, you beat the guy that KOd James Kirkland”, they’re gonna think, oh, loss number 9. Same goes for you Josesito Lopez

GGG is overrated but he is not a fraud. GGG has defensive flaws and it remains to be seen how his chin will hold up against legitimate middleweights but he is a powerful and accurate puncher. If GGG chin can hold up he will be difficult to beat. BTW Ishida is a joke and GGG will win this fight easy. Martinez and GGG needs to happen. Martinez and GGG are both taking easy fights looking for easy paydays

Woop Woop

Are there any other Jnr Middleweights who would like to fight this fraud called GGG? Are there any other light punching little guys out there for GGG to keep the hype train rolling? Stop running from the guys who actually won their World titles and get in the ring with them. What a joke Golovkin is to any sensible boxing fan.
