Trouble

Anonymous..te tumbo…Understood. lulwut….if Squared-Circle ever does something the “U.S. Government” sees as a threat, the description agents sent to take him out get for him wont be “Caucasian white guy”. That’s a fact. “don’t try to refute it without some factual basis, it just makes you look like even more of a clown”

“[Mexicans] have traditionaly always refused the label Latino.. because..” the term “latino” is viewed as a cynical way to anglicize Mexican identity with this contrived and romanticized term. hispanic is a purely political term that conveniently creates a manageable demographic based on common language, i.e., ALL ethnic group that consider spanish to be their primary language. otherwise, Nimexihcatl — Somos Mexicanos! NOT “hispanic” or “latino” or anglo, asian, or africano.

Good to see Boxtradamus has finally went full troll.

Also, Squared Circle would be schooling some of you if you weren’t too willfully ignorant to teach. You might not like what he is saying, but don’t try to refute it without some factual basis, it just makes you look like even more of a clown.

Red on Head

Little Red is about to go fishing for trout and gonna catch him one.

stupid loser

Good test and chance for each fighter to prove something, that they have something real to bring.

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

And who has Trout fought other than Cotto? A long list of bums, cans and unknowns. The only name on his resume other than Cotto is Rodriquez, and it’s not like he’s ever been a world champion title holder. Although Canelo’s resume is still lacking a lot of big names at this point, it’s still better than Trout’s.

that same “Mexican cantina” has produced Arce, Salido, Morales, Barrera, Margarito, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Sr., Chava Sanchez, etc., Etc., ETC. that old rant is stale and lame. face it: a background in Mexican cantina fight-cards is the unrelenting cred that should threaten Trout Most.

two thirds of Canelos record was fought in Mexican CAntinas vs unknown bums who had few fights if any.. He started compiling that record when he was 13 years old!!!! LOL He’s all smoke and mirrors.. he hasn’t fought a top undefeated fighter his size ever! Old, shot , over the hill smaller opponents.. I guess since Trout couldn’t hurt or put Old Cotto away they feel Canelo has a chance.. Because if Trout had proven to be a Wrecking Machine in the Ring, the Canelo people would never go near him..

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

The FOOLS who keep talking about Trout’s superior reach and height advantage have NO idea what they’re talking about. A 1/2″ height advantage in the squared-circle is nothing, and neither is a 1/2″ reach advantage on each extended arm. Truth be told, Trout has no real physical advantages. This battle will come down to differences in style, skill, heart and determination and will have very little to do with physical differences.

KOrnerman

Trout will start fast but Canelo will stalk and pummell in the late rounds.

Broner is a division ducking BEEEAATTCCHH!!!!

Posted March 16, 2013 5:21 am

Trout 2 win 4 me. I don’t think Alvarez can adjust, he only no’s 1 way. Trouts reach an boxing smarts should c him home. Only way Alvarez is winning is by KO

Posted March 16, 2013 5:21 am

HHLondon

Tim, Broner, just jumped two weight classes to fight Malignaggi who just went life and death with Cano?I like Fancy-Boy, don’t get me wrong, but he just ducked a WHOLE division to steal something against feather-fisted Calzone.
Alverez is 22, can use both both hands and will have no problem stepping up to 160/168 over the next couple of years.Who’s gonna be up there waiting for him? DeGale? Groves?Ginger probably already struggles to make 154. He gets knocked for beating some names, but Trout gets comped for beating a shot Cotto?
I’m just wondering how old Hopkins was when he won his first belt around the same mark and we question competitiveness at 175lbs?

Posted March 16, 2013 2:29 am

HHLondon

Hey, give Austin a break!

He’s old Skool, not many can get away with the Cuban Heel, but Trout seems to have it down in these shots.

Posted March 16, 2013 2:18 am

terror tim

Canelo is 5’9″. There is no way in hell he fight competitively at 175. Best well rounded fighter you have seen in 20 years? Um Broner is only a year older and twice the fighter. Alvarez is good but he hasn’t proven anything yet. He has fought mostly guys moving up and hadn’t been good in awhile. His best victory Rhodes but that is about it. I think he beats Trout but this is his best test yet. People want to crown fighters to quickly. Even Broner being P4P right now is a bit of a joke. These guys are handed greatness and many wonder why it takes them so long to make great fights.

Posted March 16, 2013 1:37 am

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Actually Canelo is 5’9″ and Trout is only 5’9 1/2″. Trout’s reach is 72″ and Canelo’s measures 71″. These guys are almost the exact same size and that’s one reason why it’s such a great match- up. Trout does look a tad taller in those pics, but could be due to the camera angle or their shoes. Maybe Canelo is wearing flat track or soccer shoes and Trout is sporting alligator-skin pimp platforms? Who the F knows, but those are their “official” measurements.

Posted March 16, 2013 1:36 am

HHLondon

Alverez isn’t an inside fighter, stop talkin crap FFS.

Trout out-hustled an old, shot battered Cotto.

My prediction: Alverez dominates the center of the square and the ref pulls Trout out around the 10th.

Trout’s on the back foot all night long!

cotto was easily beat hardly as you put it TMS “a run for his money “

The Mad Scientist

If a smaller, slower Miguel Cotto who is not only past his best but fighting way out of his natural weight class can give Trout a run for his money what makes some of you clowns think Canelo wont do atleast as well as Junito did..I swear some of you fools who think Austin Trout is schooling Kid Cinnamon make me laugh..Lol!

Posted March 15, 2013 7:42 pm

stupid loser

It’s Me, Ernie – If Alvarez does not get to the body early, Trout will not ever stop moving, which will be the makings of a bad evening for Alvarez.

Easy outing for Canelo, once Trout stops running…

Posted March 15, 2013 2:08 pm

Titopa

The reason I feel Canelo won’t KO Trout (he can certainly win) is ’cause Trout is a mover…he’s not a stationery fighter that will stay in one place long enough for Canelo to unleash, watch Canelo against Lopez and Mosley, they basically stood there and allowed him to bang to their bodies…Trout isn’t that type of fighter. Plus, Trout does well against guys who come at him rather than guys he has to “find”, Canelo WILL come and we WILL have a fight. can’t wait!

Miatestomper

Lee you have no clue in what your saying, Canelo by UD in 12 or ko between 8 to 11 rounds

Posted March 15, 2013 1:36 pm

Hidalgo

I didn’t realize that Trout was so much taller than Alvarez. No matter, I still pick Alvarez to beat Trout by split decision.

Posted March 15, 2013 1:04 pm

Lee

Not only does Canelo not have the skills he also doesn’t have the size. Canelo will eat shot trying to get inside and when he does he will be in shock because trout will out box him and out muscle him on the inside.

Posted March 15, 2013 12:17 pm

Mma fighter

This is a good test for both guys there is a big size difference
