Texas-Hold-em The best way to stop this trend of fighters coming in over weight is for the networks to simply state that they will no longer allow an overweight fighter to be a part of their programing. Doing this will make the fighter and his team to do their job and come in at the contracted weight.

I am reading that Gonzales comes in at 163lbs,, what the hell is he thinkinhg? that is almost 2 weight classes above Dzinziruk, I would have told that team to go back to PR and when the immature kid can make the proper weight, the fight will take place, That is the biggest form of disrespect for another fighter, to show up, that much over, after signing a contract at a certain weight and not complying with that contract, His promoter and managers should be held responsible and make them pay the guy that comes in on weight a large sum and a public apology. Where is Boxing headed with so many top guys coming in over the contract weight and all they do is take some money from them and let the fight go on. The heavier guy comes in and destroys the lighter guy, and they actually think this is OK? wow what BS from the Networks. Godspeed to all Warriors

Looking forward to seeing this fight. I’ve been watching films of Golovkin, he has a very good jab, but doesn’t seem to use it that much. Thats a hint GG if you happen to read this. There is an old saying in the sport,”power will only take you so far.”

gonzales going to have to be agressive and put pressure on him if he trying to box he might have problems i think dzinziruk is the better boxer i think if gonzales be agressive go to the body he a good body puncher and throw combinatons on the inside he can win it be interesting tho to see

i got jonanthan gonzales upsetting dzinziruk by late round stoppage or decsion it a bold pick cause dzinziruk is more experince and fought the better fighters but gonzales is a pretty good fighter i think he can pull it off i think gonzales power and youth and size and i know he the stronger fighter as long as gonzales is in shape and he fight his fight he got a chance of winning

Golovkin is a good fighter. Not many people know that he once Ko’d Bute. I would really like to see the winner of this fight take on the winner of Sturm v Geale. I want Geale to win so that the belt stops hibernating in Germany. Sergio Martinez fights the best and I would like to see a unification at 160 should he get past Chavez and it’d be good if the champs face off (C’mon Sergio!!!!). Dont think we’ve had an undisputed champ since Taylor / Hopkins have we? Seems ages ago now…

Proksa is a really good fighter, watch him on youtube if you havnt seen him fight already. However having followed his career for years now, i know he is too macho for his own good. Ive said for a while now that it will take a slick boxer to beat Golovkin, and Proksa is not a slick boxer. Both guys posses power (Golovkin more so), however Golovkin has a defence to go with it, whereas Proksa fights with his hands down. That style has worked at british and euro level, but wont work at world level, and certainly not against a guy with the power and precision of Golovkin. Golovkin doesnt waste many punches, and against a guy with his hands down, he aint likely to miss atall. Another slight critisism of Proksa is that he hasnt proven himself to be the best middleweight in britain. Murray, Barker, Macklin, Billy Joe are all ranked above him, and with the exception of billy joe have all fought at a higher level than him. I think Proksa will start well, maybe even win a couple rounds, but ultimately He will take too many solid shots and crumble. Then theres the possibility of Golovkin KOing him with one punch because thats the kind of power Golovkin possesses

But believe me, he couldn’t. The biggest problem before every Proksa fights is making weight. Proksa is unappreciated, it will be very difficult fight for GGG and i’m not sure he wins.
