All boxing sanctioning bodies need to implement a new rule which requires boxers to carry a card with them which states what prohibited substances they cannot take, and which they are required to present to medical professionals upon seeking medical care. Medical professionals should then be required to sign an affidavit affirming that the card was presented to them by the boxer, that they acknowledge it and have complied with its requirements. Simple really. Maybe that’s why it will never get done.

Well, I’m at a loss on this one. Testosterone is thought to weaken the male immune system. There is also thought that testosterone causes the flu. So why a doc would give testosterone to a patient with the flu is questionable. Additionally, the doc probably told Bey that he was giving him testosterone. At the least Bey should have have asked what he was being given–the doc would have told him. Anyways, I can’t find any information which states that testosterone should be used to treat flu or flu symptoms. Fortunately, Bey appears to have found a doc who will write or say anything he asks him to.

LOL so his excuse is he had the flu and got loaded up on a 30/1 ratio of steroids. Who the hell gets juiced up to beat the flu? Absurd, just like the meager $1k fine. Chavez Jr got fined $900K for weed.
