George was robbed, that’s all one can say, he clearly won that fight.

I also saw some improvement in him, his head movement was better, his footwork looked improved. I also saw periods where he lapsed into his old style at times, but improvements don’t happen over night. When he moves in behind the double jab his right lands regularly. If he can work in following those rights with a text book left hook these guys will falll. I think if he sticks with these improvements he’ll look better next time out and won’t lapse into those old bad habits.

Keep your head up George, you;’re getting better.

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Donovan George won that fight and got robbed is his own town. WTF!

That sucked. The fights were good enough, but basically ruined by poor judging. The George fight had some close rounds, but I definately thought he won. But Granados fought his ass off, took some punishment (i think in the 3rd round), but CLEARLY earned the decision. The guy who scored it 97-95 for Cintron needs to be fired. Maybe sued or arrested. Cintron had some moments, but looks like his career is over.

stupid loser is exactly correct. Whomever manages and/or promotes Cintron has some pull, otherwise he wouldn’t keep getting involved in these absurd robberies that always go his way. Next title shot he should just jump through the ropes when they ring the opening bell. Win awarded.

KOrnerman yeah I’ll keep watching anyhow because I always enjoy a good rumble regardless of who wins. But we shouldn’t have to think like that. Winners should win, like every other sport.

stupid loser

Not the first time Cintron was involved in some questionable calls. Anyone remember the Martinez – Cintron fight?? One of the biggest most blatant mishaps of corruption among referee and judging.

I like atlas, he is informative and entertaining. Do not like him hit the mute button. I did that a lot when I had HBO. I liked the guys on Showtime too.

Ned, watch the Walking Dead. It’s more exciting than listening to Teddy rant and rave with his metaphors about taking him into unchartered waters. EEyappp, what puke.

it’s as if the judes decided before the fights just how they would vote if the fights went the limit. grenados clearly beat cintron and the commission should change the verdict, grenados fought his heart out and deserved to be rewarded for his effort.

Ned

When I turned it on to watch boxing it was only half time in a basket ball game, so I switched channels and never switched back. Why does boxing always have to bow down to basket ball on ESPN-2?

Tark needs a brain scan. Even Jose Feliciano knows that Geroge won.

Citron fought Margachito too many times(twice but once was too many).

FA I reckon we watch it because we just want to see good fights, we shouldn’t really care who wins its just human nature to spot an out write wrongdoing/bad decision but it would only REALLY bother me if I had money riding on it.

FA “Judges spotted snorting rails in between rounds.” funny comment lol

I had Grenados winning 7-3 on rounds. Very fishy judging tonight, it made me wonder why we bother watching this sport. If the GS Warriors win by 10 pts, time expires and the announcer says, NO THE LAKERS WIN BY 4 would we watch the next game? Happens with absurd regularity in boxing.

Kermit’s a bit gunshy now. He landed a clean right uppercut and stood there. Years ago he’s have followed that up but he doesn’t have the confidence or killer instinct. It left years ago.

George and Granados obv won. Judges spotted snorting rails in between rounds.

typo = the other fight was more believable as far as it being a draw.

Cintron clearly called in a favor, but he got beat so bad that the judges had no choice but to score the fight a draw. The other fight was more believe it about as far as it being a draw, but the previous decision made it look bad.

TARK

The judges did a better job than Teddy Atlas… Lopez out-landed George 4 to 1 in jabs, and battered George’s face and left eye badly, although he looked to be in terrible shape and very pudgy. George landed a occasional power shot, but it wasn’t enough in a close fight… Granados did beat Cintron—but not by much. I despise Cintron, but he fought hard for a change, and made it very competitive. As for the Facebook fans, they were oblivious—and obviously influenced by the commentators. People always say you should turn the sound off but that’s not necessary. Just watch the action very carefully and keep a tab on what punches are actually landing versus those that don’t score. You don’t have to agree with the commentators

Never seen so much terrible judging than on FNF the last two weeks!
