Just curious about how the 'winning groups of rounds' on ladbrokes works, anyone placed bets using this option?? There are always good odds but I'm not sure how they supposed to calculate it, after all, there are 3 judges- what would the situation be if each judge has opposing scorecards?
Thanks

Its priced for the KO/ stoppage in that group of rounds, not points. If the fight doesn't end in those rounds by KO then you've lost your bet, the judges arn't needed.

Think youve got the wrong end of the stick mate. In there group of winning rounds all your betting on is that that fighter will win the fight in that round. Its basically like the winning round markets except less variables. So if it says Fighter A rounds 4-6, fighter A has to win the fight in the rounds 4,5 or 6.

I dunno, I've made some good cash betting on quick KO's as side bets to the main bet on the winner. For instance Haye - Enzo. Often a good option with chinny fighter and big punchers. Next time Amir Khant faces a puncher have a flutter on him losing in the first 3.

Thats the way forward, occasionally though i'll select a round or two for value if i have a fancy for it though.

I went for Khan to get knocked out, but didn't bother picking a round, because all I had done is seen Prescott's record. I hadn't accounted for....
A. How bad Khan's chin actually is
B. How stupid he would be in the ring
I have had some good runs lately - Skybet allow you to pick say three fights and have three doubles rather than an accumulator. That way, if two of three win, you get a return.
I have got a quid on three doubles - Hatton to beat Paulie, Joe to beat RJJ and Haye to beat Barrett. I have left the method of win alone in this instance.

That looks quite a poor bet to be honest. If two of the fighters win you will be lucky to get more than 50% of your stake outlay back and even if all 3 win your not even going to double your original stake money. Wouldnt it have made more sense to just put it in a straight treble at 5/4?

I won £170 predicting Haye would KO Mormeck in the seventh
And £200 prediciting Haye would KO Mac and in the second.
Yes, i'm that good.
Now for my next punt for you lads, Haye in the third against Barrett, no later.
