I heard the announcing crew for Showtime (who BTW were great again) mention this as Vazquez made his ring entrance.

They said that after he quit in the first fight with the nose injury, there were many people questioning his heart????

Vazquez is an absolute warrior and has proven it for years. I am shocked to hear this, as we didnt get any of that nonsense on this site. But quite honestly, any questions they had got answered definatively tonight.

Did anyone REALLY feel that way???

yeah it pissed me off too, Izzy has always been one to be underappreciated through out his career.

No one said he'd be able to take Larios in the rubber match after the beatdown he got from the 2nd fight, but he came back and tko larios early.

and in the Gonzalez fight, just because Izzy couldnt out box him (ignoring the fact GOnzalez had too much of a size advantage) the doubters continue to say Izzy is just a brawler and has no boxing skills.

It really is sad, now hopefully with this redemption win he'd get the respect he deserves from the boxing world.

Ive been a HUGE fan of Vazquez ever since the first KO of Larios....and he has always been the definition of a warrior.

He has great skills offensively, but because he lacks defensively (tho I think that is vastly overrated...when ya fight the best, ya gonna get hit!!!), so many tend of overlook this.

And to hear that people actually questioned THIS GUYS heart??? Just shocked the shit outta me....had to see if anyone else caught this.
