the new fabulous four.
the winner of hatton floyd and mosely cotto should fight each other. And the losers could even fight each other.
This could be the start of something beautiful.

If hatton beats floyd...lol but anyway. Yeah IF he does, he will not stay at 147.

I think you've been drinking too much of the Paul Williams Kool-Aid. Paul is a talented guy, but I doubt he would easily beat all of those guys

Don't bet on this. The amount of potential fab 4s have been unbelievable.
Cotto-Hatton-Tszyu-Floyd at 140 a few years ago!!!
Ideally the winner of Hatton-Floyd faces the winner of Cotto-Mosley.
147 needs to also match up Cintron with Margo and Williams with Clottey. Then do a winner v winner.

Hatton is not suited to 147 against cotto or mosley really
Mayweather is a push at best

There's no real comparison between Forrest and Williams besides height, and have you seen what Floyd has done to tall fighters in his career? Height alone cannot win fights. Valuev was almost a foot taller than Chagaev and still lost. I like williams, but he's not the harderst puncher, his defense is suspect, and flings his jab too much.

I'm going to skip the others and go straight to the most ridiculous implication here...Williams over Mosley? :blood:blood:blood
So simply being taller than Mosley spells victory? Can Caballero beat Mosley?

I would totally pay money to see these guys doing a Beatles tribute act.
Floyd/Paul
Shane/John
Miguel/George
Ricky/Ringo
...sound about right?

Williams' skill level is far from developed enough to compare to a prime Viper. And they don't really have the same style. Shane lost a bad styles matchup; Vernon had his number. Even if Paul polished his skills to their peak I wouldn't give him a styles advantage over Mosley.

Williams may or may not beat all the above fighters. What i'd be fairly certain of is not one of them will fight him unless he gets another decent win under his belt. Like a Collazo or Cintron.

Williams is listed at 6 1. Floyd fought Corrales who's listed at 5 11 and Tony Pep who's listed at 6 1. He beat the hell out of both of them. And do you really think that Williams is a similar fighter to Vernon Forrest? Because I just don't see it

I doubt the extra 1 to 2 inches would cause that much problems. And do you really think that Williams is a similar fighter to Vernon Forrest? Because I just don't see it:smoke no i dont think he is similar to FOREST ! I think he poses an even worst style problem for SHANE ! As for CHICO he wasnt very sturdy and isnt as large as WILLIAMS ! Oh and a couple of inches certainly make all the difference in the world in boxing ! :deal

The fact of the matter is that Floyd has fought plenty of tall guys and the height difference hasn't caused much of an issue. You couple that with the fact that Floyd is a more talented fighter than Williams, I don't see how you think that Williams would have an easy time with Floyd.

Exactly, I like Williams, but he needs another big fight before u can throw him in the mix with Mayweather, Cotto, and Mosley. I don't think he will get past Cintron. Don't think he can handle his power.

N'dou was also about 6ish.
Williams is freakish, I think he is 6'2 and VERY rangy. He has heavyweight height and reach. It's his frame that is made out of toothpicks.
