The quality of fighters have dropped greatly. Look at the first 2 seasons many of these guys like Leben,Swick,Stevenson,Southworth,Florian,Quarry,Sanchez,Griffin,Gurgel,Burkman,Whitehead ETC who had won titles and fought on big shows. Now you got all these unqualifed young fellas who think they are the shit because they are on TV without busting there ass like the guys before them who yeah where on the show to but earned there spots.

From business perspective I think they pick the best athletes then come the crazy people. This way the show stays legit and keeps the ratings up. So you'll have someone legit winning the show while the show seems like a mad house.

Sadly, the show has devolved into nothing more than a reality series about a frat house. Tonight's episode was repulsive. You think Nog was cumming in his training partner's food on his way up the ladder? Hell no. While the red team retaliated with some nasty stuff tonight, most of the pranks and stupid shit have come from that blue team. They're a bunch of drunken clowns, and Frank Mir just laughs off their antics like they're a normal part of being young. Well, they're not. I've thought this for the last few years now. I actually stopped watching but after watching the WEC fights at my bros house, we turned on TUF. Once the childish/disgusting pranks started, I actually got up and left. It's giving the sport a bad name.

These guys are worse than the cast of Surreal life in that they really are worse than B list actors...I agree with the post above...I think Dana is realizing now that it may have been a mistake letting this season on air.

Like I said, if you want to attract serious aspiring TUFers...let them fight straight for the championship as the prize...because it will be either a fuckin beatdown or if they hang or even win, then you have found real talent.

The show takes young fighters, runs them through an elite training camp, give those that look ok a fight or two, and keep the good ones, the rest is SpikeTV doing its job.

Forrest Griffin went the distance with Dan Severn in his first MMA fight, and had 11 professional mma fights when he went on TUF. Junie Browning has 2 pro fights.

Some of the talent is junk, no question, although some raw talent like Koscheck and Hamill didn't have fights, but they did at least have an extensive background in something, Guys like Blake Bowman making it on there seems like feeding lambs to slaughter.

Junie is out in Vegas with Couture now, and can fight a bit, I wouldn't recommend fighting him.

You said it. I liked the show before because I was interested in the training that went on, now they barely even show 10 second clips, its disappointing.

The only ones I see with talent are Vinny and Phillipe, other then that maybe Bader and we'll see how Krystoff does, but thats it. The rest are there to entertain, who they entertain I don't know but that is the reason I guess.
