Can't explain it but in my 28 yr involvment with Boxing I never saw Eubank fight.
How would he fair against Hopkins?

Poorly:
Style wise Hopkins is a horrible match up for Eubank. Hopkins is faster and craftier that Eubank and perfectly able to handle any of the psychology Eubank may use.
Hopkins WU15 (10-5)

Hopkins would win it, he'd be just better imo, but I really liked Eubank, a warrior the man was. That right hand can decapitate a man, and you do NOT see it coming, pounces in like a cheetah with it, good night.

This would be another horrible fight.
Hopkins had better stamina and better workrate (and it's not foten you say that). He was probably also a bit more aggressive. Eubank was a strong man though. His physical strength was amazing for a MW. I'd imagine a close fight with Hopkins superior output pulling him away at the end to just take a decision.

hopkins would win a pretty ugly fight. both men are very hard to hurt .

Hopkins would simply punnish Chris's technical errors but Eubank makes it hard for him and certainly turns up the pace in the championship rounds when hes well behind on points for a backburner of a finnish

Pretty badly I think Hopkins is superir in just about every department ,Hopkins ,along with Jones and Toney would have exposed Eubanks ,imo.

IF anything i'd say Eubank would have further exposed Toney as not the fighter the fanboys claim.Even if he loses.

Eubanks had great fights with Benn ,Watkins ,decent ones with Collins,Calzaghe and Thompson ,but he fought more than his share of dross in title defences, and won some dubious verdicts imo.

Toney and Eubank play the same game of counter puncher boxer, Toney does it better. The thread however is Eubank-BHOPs

Both counter-punchers yes, Toney does it better yes, but the thing that Eubank has that Toney doesnt, is the footwork, someone with great feet can outmaneuvre Toney for me. Not too sure if Eubank's legs were quite great though, but possibly....

Eubank wouldnt stand a chance in hell. The man lost the first fight to Micheal Watson, and B-Hop was about a light year better than Watson. Hopkins by VERY clear UD.

Eubank wanted NO parts of Toney, and for good reason. JT would have kicked Eubank's ass!
Eubank was a good fighter, but VASTLY overrated. He wouldnt beat ANY of the great middleweights.
