Just been watching one of Katsidis' earlier career fights and the commentator was hilarious.
"He's got more combinations than a McDonalds menu" and best of all was
"He's all over him like a fat kid on a cupcake!"

Schiavello is my favourite commentator.
Most people find him annoying but he just cracks me up.
He is the ethnic Darell Eastlake.

Serious question here Kronk. The little i've seen of Adam he looks impressive enough. He had abit of Tommy Morrison eske style about him which will always be popular. You see him spar, I guess, his work ethic, strengths-weaknesses etc. The bloke's faught no one of note just yet, which is fine but obviously makes it hard to judge from the outside. So what are the traits in this bloke, that you can see already, which could possibly make this guy a world beater?. Even what you think he needs to work on?

The Voice Michael Schiavello is the most underated Boxing Commentator in this country bar none,besides his fantastic one liners he is extremley knowledgable in the boxing game.
Hes done PLAY BY PLAY commentary for TVNZ in the last 2 Commonwealth Games and the last 2 Olympic games,last coverage that i saw in Beijing he did over 250 fights in 10 days.I didnt and havent seen any so called one liners(That some people find annoying) during his broadcasts at any of the games.I have worked with him many times, the amount preparation that he does is unbeliavable for a show.When its time to commentate a serious sport such as boxing he definetly brings it.
Not only does he do all K1,Dream and K1 Max shows around the world.He since last year has done alot of stuff on HD network in the states,shame he cant get an opportunity to do more stuff at home.

Funny stuff Perry. That's what you want from commentary, a mixture of humour and accuracy.
Only old bastards like myself would remember, but in the 70's when Channel 7 televised live boxing, there was a very entertaining commentator by the name of Merv Williams. Williams had a solid boxing background and his expert comments and one liners, probably dated by today's standards, were legendary!
