I was diagnosed in August and I followed the rehab plan they gave, but it's come straight back as soon as I started training again on Saturday!
Has anyone got any experiences of this and could you tell me what happened, and how/if you managed to get it sorted?
I'm getting a bit worried, I had tendonitis in my shins and I still can't run on the road regularly and I've always been happy as my arms never tended to get this kind of problem. I'm only 23, ffs!
So any advice would be very, very welcome

I'd like to know more about your symptoms as well.
I've dislocated my shoulder a couple of times, so I know some exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff if that helps.

Preventative maintenance.
Try "The Seven Minute Rotator Cuff Solution".
You should do this religiously.
Just like brushing your teeth.
Meanwhile --- some rest, ice, and anti-inflammatory.

Tedonitis means inflammation. The remedy for that is rest. Once the injury is fully healed and NOT re aggravated rehab it by using weights to strengthen the joint and iron out any in balances you have. Try adding some Glucosamine to your diet it may help.

Hey.
In december 07' after a gym training I felt pain in my left shoulder, but I continued training during one month, after some sparring sessions my shoulder hurt a lot and I decided to stop.
I consulted MDs, Physioterapist and Chiropraticians and there is no secret remedy to it. It will heal with time.
It's been almost one year now and I do not feel it is fully healed, and do not want to take the risk to have it for one more year, I can't wait, I want to box :(.
The specialists told me that the main raison is that when I was throwing my right hand or my hook, my pectoral muscles were involved a lot more than my back muscles, and that was the reason.
Strech a lot and put Ice on your shoulder when it hurts. When you feel strong enough you can do strengthening exercises.

Do these exercices 4 times a day, hold each position for 30secs and do each exercices 4 times, total of 4 minutes. It helped me a lot. Both are done in door ways. When you feel the first one doesn't stretch it enough you can put your hands higher. The second one I circled your elbow, because the inside of the elbow has to face the ground. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I dont know much about it, but that doesnt seem like that much time. How long did your physical therapist say it should take to make a full recovery? Did you get it cleared with them before you started training again?
Just like youve said your shins arent fully back, I think its likely your shoulders need more than a few months to be back.

I had my right shoulder scoped, and still i box! it hurts still but i just stretch it out really good and use therabands. Honestly though my right shoulder is stronger than it ever was, but the pain is still present.
