Even the toughest warriors knew when their time has come…..some didn’t accept their faith other, accepted it and move on with life…

Even though he gave a competitive fight, Erik Morales, ended his career with 4 consecutive loses, 2 by KO, and 2 UD…one close decision and one totally outclassed but on the losing side nevertheless…

Do you think that Erik stay in boxig for to long, or should he hhad retired after the 1st Pacquiao fight?

Yes he stayed too long, but its difficult to know when.

He did the honorable thing and gave Pac a rematch, and lost. Then he wanted revenge in the third fight and lost again.

Then he wanted to go out a champion and a winner again and lost this past Saturday.

Best to fight one more journeyman in TJ and step away from the game with money and honor.

Yeah, in retrospect it looks like he stayed too long. He started so early and had so many hard fights, it's no surprise he is done at 30. He brought a lot of entertainment to the fans and I hope he has a long, comfortable retirement.

We'll always have Barrera/Morales I, one of the best fights of the decade.
