Does it hurt only when curling?

I am really not the one to ask, but I will suggest-not saing it's the right thing. To try those machines I think they're called fee motion, where there is a handle attached to a weight stack in the machine itself. That would be my best guess.

Strengthening your forearms would help. I usually do forearm twist with the dumbbells or forearm curls for high reps. Remember you can't curl weight that you can't grip. But strong forearms helped me develop a more Potent punch, it didn't neccesarily give me more power it helps me "keep" the generated force going through the target....

could u not call us "esbians" i thought it said something about a lesbian lol.

but to answer ur question. i might have something to do w/ the way ur wrist is. try 2 things
first, try to use a lesser weight and see if it hurts. keep going to a low weight until the pain is gone. see if ur form or nething is wrong
2nd, try to stop doing them for a week or so and see if u feel better.

hope i could help

The simple answer is dont do it if it hurts. Strengthen the forearm with other routines or use lighter weights when you curl with a slower action and excellent form.

Well, it could either be he needs to strengthen his forearms, or he is possibly injured. If you don't think you're injured learn to strengthen your forearms.

Stop bicep curling?

And make sure you're not overtraining your biceps. You WILL lose speed even if your biceps get stronger if you do not keep your full flexibility and range of Motion. Remember the Bicep is the Main muscle that Stops punches from extending and if your Biceps are as tight as wheel rubber your punches will come out slower and you could EASILY injure your biceps from training. Shit if you are training on the bag and in the ring hard your biceps will automatically become stronger.[For me anywayz]

You should do this under the supervision of expert as he can suggest you whats wrong with it during your exercise session only.

I would suggest it's not your forearms being weak, possibly just overworked. I used to do EVERYTHING for my forearms (rope climbs, towel pullups, wrist curls, bicep curls, fingertip pushups, basically anything I could think of) and now after a few weeks of bagwaork i start getting shinsplint feelings in my forearms and it sucks big time.

Where you have the pain it’s weak and imbalanced.

Do some reverse curls.

Same spectrum as the strongest biceps and weakest forearms.

Balance of words...... his forearm is low in strength and definitely in slow twitch.

low in strength or low in strength in relation to the amount of work he does?

Marius pugianowski could wank all day and he'd get a sore forearm. Doesn't mean his forearms are weak.

I used to have a similar issue. I strapped (tubi-grip bandages) my elbows whilst lifting when the pain was bad and it really helped. I also started taking glucosamine & chondroitin which after a few weeks pretty much resolved the issue.

Muscles in the forearm can’t take the weight and transfers it to the tendons and joints.

Aforce
10-28-2011, 12:43 PM
Glucosamine is a good idea even without the pain yea.

Aforce

Sulphate is less saturated and absorbs better...... Chondroitin must be ok if your body is young and in good health though.

Chondroitin must be to joints what Phosphorus is to bone too saturated and too big, takes too much effort to absorb.

Ah yes, this sort of forearm problem is commonly referred to as a glass arm

Aforce

Also you feel bone too so calcium could be a problem.

Aforce
10-28-2011, 01:14 PM
I was gonna say unlikely but considering a lot of calcium sources is high in saturated fats lol.
