Here's the MMA forum's biggest avatar bet for what some are calling the biggest fight in UFC history.
Time to put your avatar where your mouth is.
Are you betting against Couture? Do you think Lesnar is too strong for the old man?
Or do you know that the wily old veteran has a few more tricks up his sleeve and has worked out a strategy to put the big man Lesnar on his back?

I can't decide and honestly think it could go either way.
On another note....I'm not even sure who I WANT to win. I've always liked Randy, but after leaving the UFC and acting like a crybaby only to come back and act as if everything is fine, I've lost quite a bit of respect for him. I can't really cheer on Lesnar either. I don't think he deserves a title shot after only 2 fights (1 win) in the UFC. Either way, I really don't care, but think it'll be an interesting fight.

In the few avatar bets I've participated in, in the Gen Forum, there are usually a few avatars from which the losers get to choose. All are supposed to be degrading. I've only participated in 2 of these one on one avatar bets, where the winner chooses the avatar.

The winners choose. Once we know who won the fight - we can post some suggestions and everyone can say "yay" or "nay." It shouldn't be that difficult.
Or we can just post a series of gay avatars for people to choose from and let the losers choose from the selection. It doesn't really matter to me. Whatever the forum wants to do is fine.

Why don't we let the winners vote on what avatars to give each loser? It would be fun to see Beebs with a Bruce Lee Avatar, and have MMA Godfather above it. How about québecwarrior with a Matt Hughes avatar? Getting to people on an individual basis is much more fun.

We're not nazis on the forum. This is all the honor system - so I'm sure everyone will own up.
Ajax fucked everything up with his big Tito head by demanding that we select avatars before the fight. I was fine with the winning side choosing after it is over.
because I doubt everyone will honour it besides it's more personal when the specific person get's to choose.

I'll honor my bet if Lesnar loses. In fact, I'll be pulling for Randy. Posting in front of a cybercommunity with a silly avatar isn't quite the same as making me prance around in an embarrassing fashion in front of my real life community. I'll gladly sport a new avatar if Randy wins.
I just don't think he is going to have the explosiveness in his technique, at age 45, needed to defeat Brock Lesnar. I think the fact that Couture showed up at 220 lbs. means that he plans on using a lot of movement in the first few rounds in hopes of wearing Lesnar down. I hope it works for him.

wow! Brock's hands shouldn't be overlooked he dropped mir, Herring and couture with punches....it's like getting hit with a sledgehammer.....Randy came in with a great game plan as usual and was doing very well even in the wrestling dep. where Brock wasn't able to dominate him. Props to Couture another great effort....I think he can take Nog and Mir at this point.

my pc is not letting do pics right now for some stupid reason, but if you google Toronto maple leaf pics and on the first page that comes up there is a pic of the leaf logo with "leaf nation" on it. That one would be great if you can't find it a normal leaf logo will do because being from Quebec you must be a big leaf fan.

Actually I never said it was impossible for Lesnar to beat Couture. Wasn't Couture the underdog? I knew that Couture would have a gameplan to beat Lesnar - it was all just a matter of whether or not he could pull it off.
However - I doubt Lesnar can learn submissions fast enough to play keep away from either Mir or Nog. That's one style that will be Lesnar's weakness until he is properly seasoned.
