What's up with this kid? He's been anonymous for months now. He's almost 30, should be roughly in his prime and he's doing nothing. What happened to the talk of fighting Reid or Sanavia for the European title?

Get your ass in gear Frock!

He needed an operation on his elbow(?) so thought it best to get it done once all the top contenders at SuperMiddle became unavailable. I think he's targeting a fight around Oct/Nov time

hennessey has won the purse bid for froch vs reid, so this will be on at the nottingham arena and shown on sky sports on 2nd november....day before calzaghe-kessler!

This should be an easy win as Reid's way past his best.

If he stops him however, I'd still be impressed.

Reid is definetly shot IMO but its good experience for Froch anyways.

Pointless and crap fight. Froch by stoppage, Reid is done and has been for a while.

Pointless fight for the Cobra....the clock is ticking and he is treading water...

I want him to back up his boasts, and beating a shot but game Reid doesn't wash wth most fans.

Reid is past his prime but he got an ok win in Brinkley. I think its good for Froch because Reid is the last challenge to his domestic domination.

After Reid its all about fighting the Euro champ as a launch pad to a world title shot.

Should be an easy comeback fight for Froch after his lay-off.

He really needs to get a move on and back-up his big mouth with actions against genuine contenders.

Reid will give hima few problems early, but I reckon Carl will stop him mid way. His punching is destructive at the moment.

I'd like to see Froch Lacy.

I'd prefer to see Froch fight Green actually. Give him some exposure stateside.

Mundine's in a bit of trouble but if he's given the okay, that's another fight i'd love to see. Can you imagine the trash talk between them two in the lead up to it?!!

:bump

It's amazing how far and how quickly Froch has come.

To be fair you are correct there. In the space of a few years he's done very very well for himself (Last week excluded - Although losing to Kessler is no real shame)

Absolutely. There was a time (and it seems like the end of 2007) that there was a feeling of Froch treading water at domestic level. Injuries slowed him up and his progress under Hennessey was snail paced. Since he got the shot against Pascal, he's made up for all that lost time so impressingly that it has faded into a distant memory.

Credit to Froch.

He deserves credit for fighting some very tough opposition. Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler is excellent even though Kessler beat him and I thought Dirrell did too. He's a funny guy, there's not much bad to say about him.

Yeah fair play to Froch, I couldn't see many fighters taking the last 4 fights that he has done.

You have to wonder however whether he could of got here earlier if it wasn't for Fat Mick.

When I saw the thread title I was expecting a new version of that 'Where's Wally' game. Would've been good.

Oh well. Interesting to see those posts from a couple of years ago, things have moved fast since then. Hats off to him.
