View Full Version : What if Haye falls flat?

Possible scenario: Monte B starts to tire out the ring rusty Haye after he's expended most of his energy going for an early KO to back up his trash talk:yep I can see this happening, Haye will want an early KO to show the K brothers, etc that he's not just a mouth, but that will carry risk:hang Barrett is a good journeyman and will be dangerous if he survives the early barrage. The other bad scenario for Haye is that he wades in recklessly and gets tagged.

My prediction is Haye by late KO, but I wouldnt be surprised if he has to come off the floor like he did against Mormeck.

If Haye falls flat? I guess I'll just wait for Hatton and Calzaghe to retire and then join forces with Beeston Brawler to spearhead the ESB Brit forums anti-James Degale faction.

I think the same might happen.

Suffer a early scare and come back to KO Monte.

Its hardly a origninal scenrio - but thats what I feel could happen.

If Haye fails - and falls flat - then he becomes just another heavyweight - not the next in line to the throne

The forum will become unbearable with all the "I told you so" and "I Predicted this" threads......
On the upside it wont be Calzaghe they are talking about for once then again i'm yet to see a "David Haye vs Joe Calzaghe: Who Wins" Thread

Bunce brought this up on Setanta earlier on, Calzaghe-Haye at 14st 10ish next summer. Seems a non-starter to me though, Haye hasn't put the weight on just to take if back off again and miss out on a title fight with one of the Klits.

I'm sure Calzaghe is eager for that showdown. Nice easy way to slip away into the sunset with minimal risk

Calzaghe just hasnt got the power - he would be the only one in danger of getting knocked out

After the hysteria of the Enzo fight the build up for this one has defo fallen flat. Haye seemed to start, and finish promotion 6 months ago.

If Haye goes in to blast out Barrett he'll be making a big mistake but when you talk as much trash as Haye it affects your psyche, and you start to beleive your own bullshit - that's what Haye has to remember. Barrett might be hand picked but he's not a mug like the stiffs Bruno was fed by Mickey Duff for years.

You forgot 'Haye is finished' and 'Haye: should he retire?'
