i looked at ticket prices about a month ago and cheapest seats were 50 quid right at the back. no wonder they've struggled, know they're doing 2 for 1 this week though

I heard they'd sold 7000 on Thursday.

******'s column said it was 2000 at the start of the week.

Also, I went on ticketmaster on Thursday when I heard about the two for one and was offered two front row ringside seats when I checked out the £350 buy one get one free tickets. From the numbers on the seating plan they looked like they were in the middle of the row too.

looks like they got a decent turn out in the end. It filled up late for the Haye-Enzo fight was well.

Looks pretty busy now! Was the same for the Macerinelli fight, everyone in the bar till the main event.

It filled up for the Mitchell-Johansen fight and they had to shut the bars to get people in for that!!!

I did my usual thing of posting a critical comment on ******'s column with the 2000 estimate (not too critical though so it had a chance of getting published).

Of course it didn't get published and the only comment on the article is "Has Frank ****** written an autobiography, if not he should do." :patsch

I read it. I love it. He's a multi-millionaire promoter and the Sun is the best selling daily paper in Europe and i'm just...well, little old me. I should not even be on his radar. Terrific stuff. We will do a homage to his different hairstyles this week on Buncey's Hour. From wedge to suave.

Adios.

The recent Rhodes fight in Sheffield was a total sell out a week before the fight with a little over 2000 tickets sold. I doubt Coyle brought too many down from Scotland, maybe a hundred or so. I think Haye fucked up big style on the admission price. Far too expensive in the current climate and this close to christmas.

****** showing a lot of biterness recently, heard him on talk sport before the calzaghe fight slating Jones and now trying to put Haye down. As Bunce said the guys a millionaire why does he bother with all the biterness.

I had they £50 tickets, but they were not opening up the top tier and gave us a straight swap for the £100 tickets.

Excluding the closed upper tier the arena was almost full by the time Haye came on.

The difference is, Bunceyboy, you are loved by the general public and he doesn't like it. Money can't buy that big man.

By the way, what was the deal with the main event announcer. I like the MC who opened the show much better, reckon he could be Britains answer to Buffer, why the barrowboy style guy for the big fights? He had no class.
