as a lot of you say he is? What will you say when he moves back to WW next year and knocks somebody's block off? I still say he beats, Cotto, Margarito, and Cintron all by KO. We won't even discuss Hatton.

I say at this age and stage in his career, he needs Tony Russo or Jose Luis Castillo's old doctor to make 147.

I think Oscar is going to look good at Welterweight - he beats most of the guys down there.

Cintron is a pretty good fighter and getting better now that he has Manny in his corner.

Oscar first fight at Welterweight is Cotto - even after he loses to Mosley.

Cotto vs. De la Hoya for Cinco de Mayo. Cotto stock doesn't fall for losing to someone of Mosley's talent.

As long as it's not for a title, as Cotto should lose to the Superior Black Muppet.

How the hell you going to call Shane a Black Muppet? I was going to say something smart and nasty - but I can't stop laughing. :yep

This faded shit is a joke. You don't perform like you did against Floyd if you are faded. Yes, he is older but he trained hard and performed well. He lost that fight and nothing changes if he is younger. All that changes is the weight but the lower in weight Floyd goes, the better he becomes.

He has until May to lose the weight though.

A weight he hasn't made since 2001. And even before then, he said he had problems making the weight.

Oscar was as cut as he's ever been when he fought Mayweather, and he weighed 154 on the nose.

I'll be surprised if he actually makes 147 without compromising his performance.

He is faded. But at any age and any weight, a Superior Black Athlete like PBF beats Oscar de la Hoya and you HATAS can quote me on that!:blurp
Fuck You!

He will be old and faded and weight drained not a good thing for Oscar honestly but right now alls Oscar smells is money and not legacy something that he learned from Floyd.

I'm done with Oscar. Seriously. He needs to stay up at 154lbs and get his belt back. He has said sooo many times that 154lbs is his most natural and comfortable weight at this stage. Why the fuck is he going to WW??????

It's just talk.

Well, whenever he talks, as a chauffeur for Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar usually has his hand up his ass, manipulating his mouth, like a Golden Jim Henson and Kermit on old school Sesame Street.

:rofl :rofl :rofl

I know he brings in money from the casual fan but so what. Why does Oscar going down to WW generate all this buzz? Was Oscar ever the MAN at WW even when he was younger? Was he ever involved in a FOTY type of event besides beating on a Tito battered Vargas? Im not even sure he can lose all that weight in the first place. Its not like he can be as disciplined in his diet as Hops.

Not at 147, there nutswinger. OScar will have to use diuretics and Binge and Purge to nearly make the weght. He will be away more drained and dehydrated than Antonio Tarver was against Bernard. I for one, cannot wait. I just pray that whatever titleholder he faces DEMANDS the fight be at 147, catchweights are for faggots and old ladies.
Idiot. Yeah, any of those "Blockbuster Draws" at WW are going to DEMAND anything if they fight Oscar :rofl :rofl :rofl

I'll be surprised if he actually makes 147 without compromising his performance. If he really tried he could make that weight in 10 months comfortably. Now I'll never weigh 160 again but I refuse to run 5 miles a day like a pro boxer.

At 154lbs he probably still has a lot of chances. He looked good against Mayorga and good against Mayweather. No reason why he can't pick off another win or two, fighting once a year.

He has no reason to try to cut weight anymore. If I was him I'd stay where I felt comfortable to finish out my career (or just retire, rich beyond belief).

I'd make them come up to fight me like he did Floyd. He said he wants to do it though and if he really does then I don't see why a professional athlete can't drop that extra 7 pounds in 10 months.

Faggot. Yeah, PBF will make no demands :rofl :rofl :rofl :nut And Hatton and Cotto, and Margarito will be worthless and beltless so who the fuck cares if Oscar fights them, and we know Oscar will avoid Sugar Shane as he is a Superior Black Athlete.

Any other questions?

IF he could get to 147 he should easily smash Hatton,Cintron,Cotto but I doubt he goes down there he always says hes going to go to Welterweight or for a current fight at 154 hes like oh ive gotten down to 147 in training but always weighs in 154 on the dot why would he do that if he was getting to 147 ? LIER.

He lies before each fight. always has. How many times have you heard ...
"I'm in the best shape of my life!" ... Then he has nothing left after 8.
Good ol' Oscar. What a guy.

Instead of gassing out after 6 rounds at 154 Oscar will now gas out after 4 rounds of action at 147lbs...

Oscar thinks Hopkins body shot was hard? Wait till he gets hit by real body punchers

Cotto/Hatton <-- these fuckers are built to throw body shots..If Oscar gets tapped to the kidneys by them he will be gassed out instantly.

Good ol' Oscar. What a guy.

He even claimed he was in the best shape of his life before he fought Felix Sturm.

But I think him fatiguing, even when he trained hard, has to do with him being a rather tense fighter rather than a relaxed one. And in the case versus Trinidad, also using his legs a lot.

Leonard did against Camacho.

baaahahahaha I'd love to see a replica of that fight now a days with DLH vs Cotto/Hatton :rofl :good
