Im thinking about getting Foxtel soonish. Whats it cost for a decent package with all the sports and some movies? How much are the sub channels with all the fights on?

I think its a bit different over here to back in the UK. In the Uk the basic package is cheap, but you get fuck all good channels. All the decent channels you want are segmented with loads of shit you dont want so you need to buy like 8 blocks of shit channels to get the stuff you want at which point you are paying more for the subscription than you spend on rent.

Whats the scene here then?

Do you get much boxing with that, or are there other boxing packages? The movies arent too much of a big thing personally as I dont really watch that much TV but my bird does. Also it saves on renting DVDs that I never remember to take back when I do want to watch something.

Well if you like watching movies and you do hire them, you would probaly save money getting movies.

Get sports and you get new boxing/kickboxing and MMA about 5 times a week for a average week.

I get most of the PPV, its add up mate, but if you can have a few friends to come over and throw in $5 as i do its not too bad :good

So whats your hobbies apart form boxing mate?

Sai

Something Ive been thinking about, but its not worth its own thread.

I need some sports teams in Oz to support. Im a massive sports fan, both league and Union and Ive really been getting into AFL since coming out here.

Ive watched a load of the Swans with a couple of my mates, so they are already covered, but in terms of Union and League Ive still not got a team to call my own. I live in Darlinghurst, so the kind of contact sports they play around here arent my cup of tea. So hook a brother up with someone to support as it makes it all way more fun to watch.

The waratahs are the only Union team I have much knowledge of cos my old flatmate was a big fan and I saw a few games with him, so they are probs the favorite for my affections at the minute.

The only league team I have a connection to is the Rabitohs cos my bosses cousin works there and drops loads of merchandise around. The problem is that Russel Crowe is a cunt and the team look pretty shit :/

I used to spend lots on clothes but iv cut back since buying a house.

Excellent, i love playing soccer, played for like 3 year as a junior but my dad wanted me to play AFL so i changed code at about 10.

What possie you play in soccer? And cricket? Im a good medium pacer, me and the mates play in the nets over summer, mainly trying to bruise each other with the leather case

Central defender maate, due to my height & strength.
In cricket i used to bat at number 5 & be a fast bowler.
Nothin like hurting a few batsmen with bouncers.

I started cricket last season. Heapsa fun. My batting was disgraceful. Bowling not so bad, but everyone can bowl!

Played a few of seasons of League, but lost fitness so now Im keeping.

PS As Im typing this, fox is saying Choc may not gain full vision of his eye. He seemed pretty devastated, so I'd say the news isnt good!!

Sweet!!! but i could blow by you easy i think :yep

Yeah we dont do many bouncers, dont wear a helmet, so we dont want to kill our mates. plus i do struggle doing a bouncer from a full length pitch.

I still use my old box from Muay Thai, hard as a rock, its taken many front kicks ....ouch

Crowe might be a bit of a tool, but his connection with Souths gives him a concession pass for mine ;)
