Especially if you have somebody to work out with. I like your good old fashioned toss it back and forth between you and your workout buddy, or where you guys stand back to back and pass it to eachother in a circle. Or you could have somebody toss it to you while you do sit-ups (they throw it to you when you are upright, you go on your back and toss the medicine ball back to them when you are upright again). Also, I was watching a couple of football players a few years back throwing a medicine ball to each other as they were running across the field. They were using an 18 lb. medicine ball. I joined in for a while. It was hard as fuck, but fun. I can't think of anymore off of the top of my head, but those are some basics that will do fine for now. Oh yeah, and you can also have your trainer or a friend/family member pound your abs with it.

What's the update on this? How are these exercises working out for you? Any new ones you've been trying out?

Russian power twists, my friend! Sit in the gymnastic "V" position (Rigid body with only your butt touching the floor, feet elevated and back leaning at about 45 degrees). Lock your arms in front of you with the ball in hand, then slowly twist to one side (2 second cadence). Hold. Slowly twist back to centre. Hold. Slowly Twist back to the other side. Hold. Slowly Twist back to centre...

I also like to do a fast exercise as part of a circut where I touch the med ball to the floor (Between the feet, bending the knees, rapid squat style), then quickly bring it up, throw it against a wall, catch and repeat. FAST! Tuck jumps with it braced on your chest are good too...

Now I am too out of shape to try those two again.:-(
