who had the better career so far, oscar larios or israel vazquez

these two may not be morales and barrera... but they are almost at the point of being great fighters:good

larios has 9 successfull title defenses including the names of willie jorrin, wayne mccoulugh twice, vazquez in a terrific fight, nedal hussien and kozo ishii.

vazquez is the leader over larios in going 2 for 3 and has beaten good fighter like johnny ganzalez, jorge julio and now the rematch over fellow very good fighter rafael marquez.

I think right now their still pretty even but Israel is Slightly cuz his still active and hold 2-1 win over Larios.

its too bad that Larios got ruined before a real showdown between Israel-Larios could be made. Their third fight(cut stoppage) left things unfinished between them. these two guys were made for each other both guys threw allot and usually got stronger as the fight went on. Their second fight would have been "Fight of the year" if not for Gatti-ward

I think Vazquez has just surpassed Larios and I think the gap between the two may get even larger and larger as Larios may already be on the downslide, while Vazquez is still in his prime belting out elite fighters like Rafa Marquez. Plus add in the fact that Izzy has two wins over Oscar which always carries a lot of leverage when comparing two fighter's resumes.
