View Full Version : bredis prescot v craig docherty??
heard from a very good source this fight is made, has anyone heard anything about it?
and its at a catch weight of 9st 12lbs for the 6th december! anyone think docherty has any chance if this happens
No chance, Docherty was stopped recently by the light punching Lee McAllister - he's way past his best. Prescott will finish him within 3.

i cant see him making a dent in prescott!
this cant be made surely not.......but if it is and that IF is as big as everest, then i hope hot property gets one big payday
Craig Docherty is a good honest pro, but this fight shouldnt be made - as iv'e already said if McAllister can stop him what damage could Prescott do?

Well Girv, Mcallister was able to lay enough of beating on Docherty to make Murray shit himself yet again after he had already bottled out of a fight against Burns...
Take from that what you will my fellow scot...

Take from that what you will my fellow scot...You've got this one dead wrong methinks and I reckon you'll revise your view that Murray is scared of anyone Scottish that's eligible to fight for British titles.
Murray's going to break down Mr "2-time world champion" McAllister when the fight happens.
Almost seems like you want him to pull out so you can continue your pro Scottish banter.
McAllister fight was postponed, not scrapped.

I think he was refering to Dunkys trolling of these pages with his Scottish talk.
Docherty vs Prescott is pretty shit for a guy who is rated in the top 10 in the WBO.

when did the fear of the scottish come into it?he's still going on about Murray pulling out vs Ricky Burns and saying this McAllister delay is the same thing.
Anyway, would like to see Prescott over here again. Maybe he's a Caballero type fighter, i.e. looks horrible sometimes, and other times destroys big names in their hometowns.
Prescott is dangerous as hell with those looping powerful punches and his height and length. Lacking in technique but dangerous.
Caballero could be a very good comparison.
I wonder if he has a shakey jaw like the other Colombian power punchers. :think

well, it still stinks a little that he's "postponed" yet another fight, so what are the reasons?
Due to Murray having a cut.
likely story :smoke

I know it sounds awful for me to say this but would it not be hilarious if it turned out Prescott was chinny?
Who the hell is scared of Ricky Burns?
He can not punch shit. He has good skills, but lets get serious he's not exactly intimidating.
He probably is dwilson. Look at the Colombian fighters today. Miranda, Berro, Torres, these guys are massive punchers but all vulnerable. BP fulfills the first criteria it seems...

He has just started shaving so is prone to a few mishaps.

That's the word going round alright, there's no chance of it being because he's afraid of McAllister. I don't think any top 10 British Light-Welterweight has anything to fear from McAllister, despite him being a 'two weight World Champion' :verysad
