What fighters do you think are best to watch for long range agression. By that I mean fighters like Thomas Hearns, Mike McCallum, Kelly Pavlik ect.
Who do you think is best to watch to pick up the skills of this style of fighting?

mike mccalum is great. old school fighters were exceptional at keeping an opponent at distance with jabs and movement. willie pep, muhammad ali, leonard, sweet pea, ray robinson. all excellent boxers with excellent jabs to keep their opponents right where they wanted them.

Hearns. If you didn't close distance with him, you got owned - even Leonard had trouble when he tried to box from outside vs Tommy. Look at Cuevas, Duran, Benitez etc. Marvin showed how to do it, you had to take the fight to Hearns by closing range aggressively, otherwise you were toast.
I agree with McCallum, he's good to watch. Not too unorthodox to copy.
tooomaas the HITMAN HEAAAAAAAAAAAARNNNNNNNNSSSSSS, his long right cross were fucking intercontinental missiles !!!!

Don't forget Roy Jones. His ability to shoot blinding straight punches at you from a distance was like he was fighting people with a long cow whip.

Guys with quick feet (SRR, RJJ, Pac) can be effective from long range too because they can close the distance before you know it.
Apart from all the greats mentioned already, Kessler is pretty damned good at controling with his jab as well.

Wlad... unfortunetly. But thats only because of his size
Larry Holmes had a hell of a jab too.
But Thomas Hearns is as good as it gets.

I would have to rate Hearns at the top in this one. McCallum was good at distance too, really fun to watch also.

Wow you just put Solis in the same sentence as Ali. Gotta see how good he is.

Hearns wasn't unorthodox imo and one of my favourite fighters.
Someone like Riddick Bowe comes to mind but I haven't seen enough.

Bowe fought on the inside just as much or more as he used his reach.
