What's the hate? Ottke had some really controversial wins, how is that any worse than Holyfield's "Evan Fields" - hints of steroid use or Hopkins fighting dirty almost every time? At least Ottke didn't put his opponents at risk like Margarito, yet he gets more shit than a guy who used plaster than could have killed fighters.

For a fighter who turned pro that late, he was a decent pro boxer. Not great, but not all that bad either.

ottke's controversial wins are greatly overstated. admittedly when it was bad, it was a downright shame on the sport (ottke v reid) but some people would have you believe every one of his title defences were dodgy.

sven was someone who did the bare minimum to win, but deserved pretty much everyone of the decisions he got.
