I don't know how you can say that Pradeep was robbed??? He was dropped in the 1st round, got hurt on a number of occassions, hadn't won a single round & had lost 2 points for deliberate fouls, hardly what I call being robbed??? I think he was more looking for a way out so he elbowed Ryan inside, that is why he was diqualified.
Pradeep is a very talented kid, who I believe has a big future in the sport but last night he was taken to a place that he hadn't been to before in a fight, it was unfortunate that the fight ended the way that it did as I believe that Ryan was going to stop Pradeep or at least win a comfortable decision. I hope that Pradeep learns from the experience & comes back better for it, all great champions do & I hope that he becomes one of them one day?
As for last night, give credit where credit is due, Ryan fought well & won against a very good opponent.

Birchymate were you at the fights singh wasnt hurt he did get dropped early tho .
as the rounds did go on i believe pradeeh was getting the better but waters is one tough bastard and dug deep ,
prad started to find range and was getting comfortable for starters you yourself said waters was taken to the deep end i have seen singh fight in melbourne he takes a few rounds to warm up .
Mate he did hit waters with a body shot that snapped him in half and waters did try to hang on, whats got me stuffed is how does a ref see it from directly behind waters back?

was waters training with tom mecuri andand if so why did he leave?

Yes, I am training Ryan at the moment, I've been a member for a while just never posted.
I don't want to comment about the refs decision, he called it as he saw it.
Ryan was winning the fight clearly, I said that Pradeep was taken to a place that he'd never been to before as a pro, I don't think that he's been dropped, cut, hurt & behind on points before in a fight, that is why I believe he got frustrated & fouled Ryan???
It was a good fight between 2 good boxers, Ryan was the better fighter on the night this time, hopefully in the future they can do it again?

Gday Birch,

Nice post. Seems fair.

I got to see alot of Ryan in training for this one (Ganoy sparring) and you guys seem to be a good combination. Commitment and ability to fight 12 hard rounds are big advantages for Ryan.

he's a hard fight for most.

He arrived in Sth Africa on Wed night, which will give him about ten days to acclimitise. He did 6 rds with Isaac Hlatswaayo on Friday and that will be his last sparring session.

Angulo is arriving only three days before the fight. With the high altitude thing, that may be a negative for him. We'l see.

Ranee had a great prep, which started with Julio Diaz as the opponent remember. Then it went to Ray Narh but he wanted all sorts of stuff in his contract. So Angulo was the next option. Sparring with Tommy, Zapp and Ryan has fitted him as well as he can be.

No excuses mate. If he is good enough he'l win.

So Waters let T.Mecuri and Singh has left L.Hudson.

Whats the story behind the splits? Both trainers are good at what they do.

Waters can go on to bigger things but where to for Singh? A rematch maybe?

Waters trains with P.Birchell, who does Singh train with?
