I know people are going to call him a holder but I say Ricky Hatton is good to watch for inside fighting.

His best work is on the inside and like it or not he neutralizes the other guy while doing his own work, working with one had free, using his body weight to upset the balance of his opponent. He does a lot of little things that to the untrained eye looks unskillfull.

Everyone who says Toney is on the money to, he thrives on the inside.

?? thats about the worst possible thing you could do on the inside alot of amatuers think bc this works for pros (james toney, mayweather, etc) its gonna work for them. keep your hands up when inside inless you wanna get KTFO.

Now I find the best thing to do on the inside is keep a tight guard, and just keep up with squating and moving your head till you can get some shots off.

The best inside fighter in the world today is Bernard Hopkins. Compare his videos with Frazier and Tyson and you will see the difference. When he is short of punching room, Hopkins can still throw a punch. Frazier and Tyson would just stop punching and cooperate with the clinch.
