Its almost as though Khans management team have been taking advice off of this board :think

This move is a couple of years too late IMO, he should have been sparring skilled animals straight from the get go.

no i didn't but i knew all about. For the record fagan fights nothing like gomez. They prob tried to bring mike in for sparring because the thought he hadn't been training and would knock him over. Wrong he's been ticking over nicely with kev maree and lets just say came nowhere near to been the punch bag khans team were hoping for. :-)

in fact i'd be pretty sure gomez would be hoping for a fagen win on saturday.

Jeff, to be fair Khan knocked Gomez over when he had been training, so just using him as a punchbag would be sort of pointless. Gomez and Fagan are roughly the same height, so that may have something to do with the choice of sparring

Jeff, you have sources on the inside compared to most of us id imagine, have you heard of the sparring between Gomez and Khan? You seem to be edging towards Gomez being too much for Khan in sparring sessions?

I can picture Gomez trying to take his head clean off with them head bobbing hooks:lol:

Never seen Fagan, bar a few highlights but it seems the only thing in commo between himself and Gomez are the Irish roots:deal

Unlikely he's too much for Khan in sparring.

Khan beat the shit out of him in a real boxing match and I'd say sparring was weighted in Khan's favour even more.
