Wow! This is amazing news! If he's been taking shots from Manny and not going down, then he can now surely be described as "Iron jawed".

Khan's biggest problem was his terrible chin, but now that's been sorted, he's got to be one of the best lightweights in the world.

:good

I bet Juan Manuel Marquez is shitting himself.

Time for the Lightweight division to bear witness to the WRATH OF KHAN; let the reign of terror begin.

give the kid a break ey? good man :hi:I will give the kid a break when he shuts his cake hole and starts performing like he says he can.

If he wants to tell us he can now take big shots, then he is just begging for a piss taking. He still behaves like he is a celebrity boxer, rather than what he actually is: A novice domestic level fighter who should be working hard towards a British title rather than bragging about taking Pac Man's punches.

If he were to show an ounce of humility, he might get a bit more support.....

"I don't care how the fight goes as long as I win even if it's boring. I'm a cleverer and better fighter now after spending five or six weeks in America,"

"Sometimes when you get into a fight you want to please the crowd but it should be about winning."

"I'm going to forget about the crowd and all I want is a win. I don't care if it goes 12 rounds or one round."

"You can expect a totally different Amir Khan. I will be more focused - and I won't be holding the chin up high."

It'll still get tagged sooner or later and then he's fucked it (again).

Claypole, I totally agree with you.

If he would just shut the hell up and actually fight some half deent fighters, then decent fighters, and if he's still winning move to world level, all without proclaiming himself king of the world, I'd get behind him.

khan has changed both physically and in his approach but don't expect anything you haven't seen before.

khan has changed both physically and in his approach but don't expect anything you haven't seen before. But, but...he said he was cleverererer now, and can mix it with Manny. (plus he went running with him, I saw the pictures!)
And don't forget Gary Stretch said he punches 78.436% harder than ever before.

All this has to be true, so we're going to be treated to a brand new Amir Khan.

I hope he gets sparked again. His lack of humility is astounding. He's a twat. He got starched against an unknown. I thought he might get a grip after losing to Prescott but he goes to spar with PacMan for a few weeks and now he is the knig of the world again. He thinks not getting knocked out by Pac in sparring is an achievement?

He needs to shut the fuck up and get a grip. Imagine if he ever managed to actually win a fight against a decent opponent or has even a minor impact at brit/ebu/alpahabet belt level. And whats worse is everyone is getting back on the bandwagon again. I couldn't warm to the lad if he was cremated.

Unless Khan has had a jaw transplant all the tactical changes in the world will be for shit

And whats worse is everyone is getting back on the bandwagon again. We all thought Breidis Prescott thoroughly derailed it, for good. But no. It turns out it had simply taken the scenic route.

It seems hype and naivity go hand in hand.

I agree; which means that he could turn into the most entertaining of fighters (the kill or be killed variety - which would be a great solution for us; makes for an interesting scrap almost every time).
