No reason why anyone shouldn't respect these two, regardless of who you cheer for. They are both fantastic warriors and tremendous gifts to the world of Boxing and its fans.

Hell yes. IMO these are very underated fights as of now in boxing. This will go down as a great trilogy and I would not doubt it if they fight even more than 3 times in their careers.

One thing I like about these fights (maybe not when Im watching them but in retrospect) is that neither fighter is taking a sustained beating over several rounds (like Gatti vs Ward).

The fights are short and oh so sweet.

Indeed. How exactly do you stage a left hook like the one Marquez takes at the beggining of this round? Pretty hard given the technical ability of these fighters and the speed of the action.

Now this is an entertaining fight well worth the money. As I said in a previous post, the small guys offer the best fights/entertainment but get the lower pay per fight. They get screwed when it comes to pay.:deal
