Anyone see this weeks episode (aired Monday on Bravo)?...features Dominic Negus. Was pretty good insight into this guys life. Talked about head butting Fraudley during their bout, and how his life of crime ruined his boxing career.
Basically he's one tough bastard!

Watched it...

Dyer tried to make him out to be something special in the ring and that he HAD to spot fighting because of his 'other lifetyle'

No doubt hes tough, but as they say, theres always someone tougher and in this case theres many many tougher

The way Dyer & Buncey thought Dominic Negus would be a boxing great if he didn't have a dodgy background...I DON'T THINK SO! I loved hearing the story about him nutting Audley though, nice one.

yeah man i read his book out of the shadows a few weeks ago he's a pretty hard basterd
how he survived the axe attack is beyond me.

Yes, it was a pretty feeble headbutt and didn't seem to hurt Audley. Audley won the fight easily.

I enjoyed the programme although had to laugh when they kept on saying that Dominic could have become a boxing superstar!! He was a decent top 10 Cruiser who may have probably challenged for the Brtish title at some point.

Im sure i saw a programme on Negus a coupla years ago, he was a small tiem debt collecter who was doing some unlicensed boxing, which he lost. End the show with him being a security guard. Plastic gangster if you ask me.
