Thought on this fight? Might Kober make good in the heavyweight division?

Was Köber dominating the fight from beginning or how was the fight?

They said, that Köber was leading, but it was a fight with much holding and grabbing. 15 seconds before the end of the very last round Köber hit roth with 2 nice looking uppercuts and Roth did not beat the count.

kober is solid, but i doubt his chin will allow him to go too far. spend losts of time on the canvas as an amateur.
but the win over roth certainly looks good on paper, 19-0 and all that.
a euro championship should be within his abilities.

You had mentioned Stephan Kretchman on the other thread. If you would be so kind, fill me in a bit about him.

Steffen Kretschmann is s.th. like the only german prospect who could perhabs win a version of the HW title. He is 1,97m tall and fights in southpaw stance.
He moves good, seems to have a good punch and a solid chin. His record is 13-0 right now, 12 wins comming by way of knock out.
Here is his record:

I appreciate the info. Kretchman looks like an excellent prospect given his size, power, amatuer experience, and apparetly, his chin. But if he is 28, he really should consider stepping it up soon.

kober will not do too much in heavyweight, although he has some amateur background.
just like timo hoffmann, perhaps become EBU-champ,thats it.
dieter is just like his brother egon another shitty boxer with a fake record.
Köber and him were rivals in the amateur and about equal good but Kretschmann seems to be the better pro.
Koeber is an extremely wayward fighter. You never know for certain which version of Sebastian Koeber will show up for a fight.

Kretschmann should work a little bit on his body movement. He is too stiff. But nevertheless he has proper handspeed and punch for a tall HW.

I think Kober can beat Kretschmann. It will be very good fight...
KO Artist doing good in pro. He stayed a lot in amateurs and here he wrong.
