Was he an ATG or just great compared to the opposition he went against?
I hear he had a bodybuilders build. What else did he have going for him?
God damned aggressive from what I've seen of him.

I've only seen brief Youtube clips, but apparently I am about to be the recipient of some fights of his as a gift. :D

Ahhhh.........if I told you, he'd be flooded with requests. Not sure that'd be cool with him, so I cannot say. :bart

Galaxy had excellent numbers, a sound resume and very agressive with a crowd pleasing style. His chin was on the soft side and he occassionly fought down to oppositions level. But overall a fine fighter.

Tell us, what was so sound about his resume?
Espinal, Orono, Contreras, Pical, Kim and Griman.

Jiro Watanabe was the best of the 1980s super fly's.

Jiro Watanabe was the best of the 1980s super fly's.
Another excellent fighter, but just slightly under Galaxy IMO.
His conqueror Gilberto Roman was another fine super Fly but sadly taken away from us too early.

watanabe an Galaxy had similar accomplishments.
I'd pick Jiro head to head, which gives him the edge for me.
Great boxer-puncher.
