Former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr ([Only registered and activated users can see links]***********.com/?m=show&id=9829#). (51-4, 38 knockouts), fresh off his unanimous decision win over Anthony Hanshaw on July 14 in Biloxi, is planning a return to the ring in November.
Promoter Murad Muhammad told the Pensacola News Journal that Jones will fight on either Nov. 3, Nov. 10 or Nov. 17. The curent front-runner to host the event is the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, and New Orleans is another possibility.
Muhammad said that WBO light heavyweight champion Zsolt Erdei (27-0, 17KOs) is the number one choice for Jones' next fight. Glen Johnson (46-11-2, 31KOs), the man who previously knocked Jones out in 2004, is the second choice. Felix Trinidad would be the third choice, but he doesn't want to face Jones until Jan 2008..

Hmm Shane or even Forrest at 154. It all depends on Tito and how low he is willing to go ..

How can Roy be shot and not Tito? Tito has never beaten anyone at all. Oscar beat himself. Bhop Ko'd him. Winky Destroyed him. If you dont wanna see Roy, but you do Tito because of Roy being "shot" You Suck!

I never said he was shot I was always said Tito has a few good yrs left in him but he needs to fight fighters that compliment his style ..Jones is all wrong for him ..

Roy Jones can still defeat 90% of the boxers out there...Even if his "shot"

Both Erdei and Johnson KO Jones. No way he fights either guy.

Im glad Roys serious about being on top agian and wants to stay active. I really want Jones-Trinidad so however Jones would fight in November it could be Brinkle Wilson and I wouldnt care.

You still think Roy has what it takes to still be a threat?

Yes if he really wants to be one I can see him beating all the guys listed but on the same night losing to them. I still wonder mentally about Jones Jr at this point in his career.

I just hope the fight happens in New Orleans.

i don't wanna see Jones/Tito...Tito has always been too small for 168 and there is no point...i'd rather see Tito work hard and make 154 again for DLH or Forrest...Jones needs to fight Johnson again for legacy, win-lose-draw he needs to put his heart in it and at least try...Erdei is just as tough for Jones as Johnson, so why not try to avenge a KO loss...

Johnson is dangerous but there was nothing that I saw in him that said Jones couldn't have beat him ..I hope he does try to avenge that loss .As for Trinidad I'd like for him to fight a tune up first before he gets another big fight .

I dont think a Tito Forrest fight would be worth watching at the most that should be a tone up fight for Roy or Shane

Exactly he needs a tune up ..Hell let Tito fight Ike Quartey at 160..

Asumeing he can win Jones should fight Zsolt Erdei first than a rematch with Glen Johnson Than if he is still fighting a rematch with Bernard Hopkins. If Hopkins is retired by then Chad Dawson would make a good last oponit. If he loses any of those match ups he should retire.
