Kotelnik back in February against Marcos Maidana, the guy has an impressive ko ratio and his last few fights in Germany, any of you guys seen him.

I really like Kotelnik but no nothing about Maidana other than 24kos in 25 is almost perfect.

What do we know about him, is it the end for Kotelnik or can the classy boxer stand the big puncher on his head

I saw Maidana from ringside for his last outings and must say that I am not impressed - he really looks like a poor version of Edwin Valero and therefore he has kinda dirty style. If Kotelnik can play it clever for the first 8 rounds, he should easily win this fight on points...

We will see which way the cat aka Maidana jumps when he faces a classy counterboxer aka Kotelnik.
Maidana relies on his genuine firepower.Very rarely did he have to go the full distance.Kotelnik has a proven track record and a decent chin.
Maidana can punch.Thats for sure. However, what will happen if he cant connect with some of his murderous punches?
Maidaina has an impressive ko ratio, but I wouldnt argue the toss with someone who calls his fight record a padded one.
He swaggers through the ring like King Kong who has gone beserk because his warden didnt give him his daily ration of bananas.
It will be a very interesting clash of styles: puncher vs counterboxer.
I am looking forward to it! Maidana is the underdog.
Kotelnik by point decision.

Nah I like Kotelink. He is a good boxer and has had alot of bad luck in his career. I can not see Maidana causing him any problems. The guy has a poor record for top class boxing.
