I'm not asking for predictions on who wins or how, but what is next for the winner of this fight. The winner will in my opinion will have many options to chose from. If Juan Manuel Marquez wins his bout with Rocky Juarez he is the most logicl choice for eaither Manny Pacquiao who he has a draw with and for Barrera (who could be retireing win. lose or draw. Posibily making this question irrelvent.)who Marquez has a win over. If Marquez loses to Juarez Juarez would become a player in a very deep super featherweight
deivision that includes Edwin Valero, Joan Guzman, Humberto Soto, Alex Arthur and Jorge Rodrigo Barrios .
What about chalenging a light weight champion? Although some boxing fans might tink that a boxer should "clean out" his division first a tempery step up in weight if he wins can do a lot for a boxers reputation. A win over a lightweight like Juan Diaz, Julio Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Michael Katsidis and David Diaz. Would close the gap between Pacquiao and Mayweather for pound 4 pound. You don't think Barrera would like to one-up Erik Morales by winning a tittle at lightweight to become the first boxer from Mexico to win 4 world tittles?

If MAB wins, bring on the rubber match with Pac. If Pac wins, bring on the rematch with JMM.

Whatever happens, I think it's very likely Barerra will hang up the gloves. Or there could be a theird bout if Marco wins. However, if he were to beat Pacquiao, then Barrera will have bolted shut, cemented his place as an all time great, which in my view, he has already done. A victory would enhance his greatness even more for me.
If Pacquiao wins, then it onto more big fights i.e. Marquez, Guzman, Valero (which is the one I want to see most).
