I would go with Maskaev due to the fact that he had been Ko'd by weaker punchers than Vlad. Sultan is totally untested against strong opposition, so I cannot make the right judgement there, even though he had been KD by lesser punchers as well.

Anyone picking Wlad is picking out of hate or ignorance. Not that he has a great chin, but Maskaev has been starched for a 10 count on at least two occasions and stopped 5 times over all, Wlad has been stopped fewer times in more fights, and has never been stretched for a 10 count, and Maskaev has been stopped in 4 rounds or less 3 times

Wlad and Maskaev are chinny but they can fight. Maskaev's turn a round is amazing? Maskaev is live against Peter if Peter comes in out of shape. Oleg has become a savvy old pro.

I say Maskaev, but it still doesn't change the fact that hes a great boxer. I like Maskaev.

Chagaev hasn't even been knocked down to my knowledge so he gets a pass.

Sultan has only had off balance type knock downs, so he gets a pass too.

Wlad has only lost due to once due to punches rather than fatigue. He's never been "starched" or counted out. Even though he's faced far better competition than Chagaev & Ibragimov he gets my 3rd spot.

Maskaev has been overwhelmed & beaten to the punch & KO'd for the count. He has the worst chin here but Oleg has grown a bit savvy & I don't think Peter is all that. I'd be surprised if Maskaev is KO'd early and that's saying a lot.

I agree. Maskaev should be able to UD Peter.

Maskaev. It's not even close. Wlad has been down, but he's never been knocked out cold like Oleg - the classic sign of a glass jaw. He's gonna get creamed by Peter, too.

+1 It's going to make his old lady cry to see him get beat down this bad.

Let's hope so. Oleg is a good guy & he deserves more credit than he gets on these pages.

The fact that so many are picking Wlad shows the lack of boxing knowledge here on ESB.

Wlad has never been KO'd, he's only been TKO'd twice with the other loss coming from his corner throwing in the towel early in his career.

but he's never been knocked out cold like Oleg maybe not out cold but when Brewster won the first time around he was knocked senseless and too me thats no different than out.

Who all knocked Oleg out. I saw his KO Loss to Corey "T-Rex" Sanders, not the south african guy, and based on that I picked him as having a weaker chin than Wlad, but who else starched him?

Kirk Johnson and Lance Whitaker were two of 'em - neither guy was exactly known as a big puncher, and Whitaker in particular was as limited as they come.

Doesn't bode well for what's gonna happen when he gets in the ring with Peter. :-(

One interesting thing about Maskaev is how inconsistent his chin has been. For some reason, it's excellent against Rahman, who is arguably a harder puncher than Sanders, Johnson, and Whitaker.

He also took some good shots from Tua before being KO'd.

I do rate Oleg's chin as the weakest of the belt-holders, but for some reason, he can occasionally take a decent punch, too.

I always thought that was weird.

On this list, I'd rank it, from weakest to strongest:

1) Maskaev
2) Sultan (never been KO'd, but dropped by weaker punchers)
3) Wlad
4) Chagaev (I'd like to see him face more big punchers, but I give him the benefit of the doubt for not getting dropped by Virchis.)

I voted Oleg, but I also think he is the second best overall boxer on that list.
