to be honest never realy seen barker fight and it depens on what magee turns up bernard dunne said to me the other day hes in great shape so iam sitting on the line for this fight and watching with intrest i just hope mr henesy will call me monday morning with my shot but i think he will keep it in his stable with paul david or some other name in his camp to keep his money machine going

Surprised Barker has took this fight at such short notice cos he has to step up in weight as well for this.

Barker is a very good boxer but has a bit of suspect chin, he was put on the floor by Paul Samuels before knocking him out although the referee didn't give it as a knockdown, he was also on the floor twice against conroy mcintosh and if memory serves me corectly he was almost stopped. I'm a bit of Barker fan, we both come from Barnet so I hope he does well in the sport, he certainly has potential.

None taken. Best of luck with getting a shot at the winner. I thought Barker was scheduled to fight Mckay tonight, Surely you can't just switch opponent just like that.

the itv show has just started and still have maguire vs magee as the second main fight, with barker fighting at around 10:30pm

I really like Barker. Great chap and a very good boxer. He could be something special for us in the middle division but may not have the power to break the world scene.

yes, for an "afrobum" titlist he's fought very few afrobums.

hennessey believes barker will challenge for the european title by the end of 2009, although i hope he gets to fight for the british first.
