A few years ago I talked to a Polish boxing promoter named Krystoff Zbarski or something like that and he told me that he could easily sell out any arena in Hungary but not in Poland because the Poles wouldn't support boxing. I was wondering, what with the success of so many Polish boxers is the sport getting more popular over there? Did they show the Adamek fight on TV?

Poland is no more dangerous then any other country. Like everywhere you need to use your head if you want to stay out of trouble.
i.e : If your walking down the sidewalk at night and see 8 bald, dangerous looking dudes drinking beer, your probably better off going around them.
Things in Poland are improving, but given the success of Polish boxers lately, and all the up and commers I would say the sport is more popular and developing even more then it has in the past.
