I can't wait for The Fighter to come out. It stars Wahlberg and Damon who play Ward and Ecklund.

Ward is and always has been a credit to the sport. He trains hard and fights hards, what more can you ask for. He retired at the perfect time.

People must not shun what Ward did, he wasn't a journeyman or a professional loser. He simply wasn't Floyd Mayweather or even a titlist like Arturo Gatti but he was a TOUGH contender, people who have beaten him (Judah and Gatti) will tell you that.

He beat Gatti, Augustus, Quinonez, Neary, Green and Veader. Respectable.

This is why it gets on my tits when assholes (you know who you are) call guys like Gatti and Ward "Glorified club fighters" they deserve more respect than that easily.

That's some touching shit.
A lot of people glorify being beaten up, taking punishment and keep going, but it's no joke.
