Stolen from the General forum but I think best that us lot discuss this amongst ourselves..
So what do you think? Maybe at 140, Prince said if he was coming back he could make Lightweight but i beg to differ, I'd certainly pay to watch this but I also think it would take a miracle for the Prince to win this fight.

Are we talking prime for prime or if Naz came back now? If it's the latter, Naz would get fucking slaughtered. Prime for prime, it's about 50/50.

This is the scenario in my head..
Pacquaio fights Hatton next year, Pacquaio wins, PBF decides to retire for good, behind the scenes Naseem is getting himself back in too shape for one last super fight which I think he merits, Then Sometime in late 09 they get it on like donkey kong.

I've always hated naz but for some strange reason if this did happen (it's not going to) I'd be supporting him.

I've always hated naz.
I hated him whilst he was around but since hes been gone I hate to say it but i miss him, he was such a character and such a talent, not many like him about these days

That's crazy talk, although it would be entertaining, if nothing else.

Pacman all day, imho. A class above, Naz.
In fact now at 140, like the OP suggests, Pac would slaughter him.

I think the Prince gets far too overhyped by people. He was talented yes, but a lot of people think he was indestructible and was shot against Barrera.
He wasn't, he just got beat by a far better fighter, who was a good few class levels above anyone Naseem had fought.
If Naz hadn't retired he would have probably fought Pac a few years ago when Pac wasn't too refined and just ploughed in. Assuming Hamed took his training seriously I think he would have had a comfortable win at that stage.
If Naz came back now he wouldn't stand a chance.
If Naz had never retired and lived well/trained hard by this stage I would give Pac a 70 - 30 advantage.

Make the fight prime for prime, in 9 months time, whenever. Pac beats the shit out of Naz. Simple as that. Naz only stepped up to elite level once and was soundly beaten. He never came back after that. Lack of skill in the MAB fight coupled with lack of desire to come back. Why would anyone think Naz could win.
All anyone talks about is what Naz could have been, and his 'potential'. He hadn't the will/desire/guts to go and fight at the elite level after MAB. Maybe he was afraid of being found out. Maybe he had enough cash to retire. Maybe it was something else. All I know is that Naz was a flashy looking champ (with some big flaws) in a decent division in his time. Then when he tried to go to the next level he lost and was never heard of again

There is no chance of Hamed ever fighting again.... trust me on this.

Naz fought 1 real elite fighter and lost. Pac would stop a prime Naz in under 8 rounds.

This is a joke right? The guy weighs about 15 stone and hasn't been in a ring in like 9 years or something. Never going to happen.
At their peaks its an interesting fight. Pacquiao never had the technical ability of Barrera. At this stage, he wasn't even a good boxer period. He was just an all out attacker with great physical gifts, this was before he really developed his skillset.
Hamed would surely have a great chance of landing the required punches, Pacquiao was not elusive. Pacquiao's relentlessness would be a problem for Hamed for most of the fight, however.

The naz of the mid 90's would have done it imo but the lazy fighter we seen in the latter years would have been out pointed.

Nas never peaked as a fighter, he blew his legacy and relied on his laurels alone, lessons for anybody.

Naz always shone against attacking fighters and Pac would play right into his hands. If anyone is knocking out anyone it would be Naz KO'ing Pac. Pac has been KO'd and hurt a few times over the years and with Nazz power only a fool would make Pac a huge favourite.

he lost a decision to Barrera but he won a few rounds as well.

Rock chin? Not saying it was terrible but if Kevin Kelley was able to send him over 3 times in 4 rounds I hardly think it qualifies in the ATG chin category

All three kd's together add up to about 2 seconds tops. He was off balance, not hurt. Skinny Hussein (scot harrisons last opponent) had pac all over the place and almost out.
