Bowe proved he could take a lot of punnishment; in the Golota fights and the Holyfield fights. I think Bowe could last the distance and score a wide decision even withstanding a possible knockdown or two.

He barely survived HOLYS left hook and ANDREWS rights ! He wouldnt have survived the TUAMANS HOOK ! TUA would have KOed him! :deal

Bowe would crucify Tua... knocking him out within 4rds... remember Felix Savon K.Od Tua in the 1st round ...so Bowe would destroy himJesus fucking Christ! How stupid are you?! I've been here 5 minutes and I've already seen 2 dumbass comments from you.

Bowe would outbox Tua and gain a wide UD. Tua would have trouble getting past Bowe's jab and would find out how good Bowe was on the inside if he did close the range.
Bowe's uppercut, jab and right hand would prove decisive as Tua toils to get in range. Bowe's chin was not as bad as people make out. He was only down against Holyfield and Golota - neither of which could actually finish Bowe off.
Bowe would do a job on Tua but in a different way to Lewis. Please ignore the dumbass comments made by 2smart4u (not exactly an apt username becasuse he is as thick as shit) as I will be. He has to be one of the dumbest posters in the history of ESB not to mention a noted Bowe hater. His use of emoticons is simply frightning!

Tua was also a very young kid at the time. There is no damn way that Tua gets KO'd. He has one of the best chins in the sport of boxing today.
That said, Bowe most likely wins a UD. I'm a fan of Tua but Bowe could take some big time punishment. It would be an awesome fight to be sure.

Both had dissapointing careers IMO. But at least Bowe had a prime, and a very excellent one indeed. Bowe 120-108.

Tua had the potential and could have easily developed into something Great but it never happened, anyway Bowe by wide UD because tua never developed.

Bowe had no footwork, stood straight on too often, he was made for Tua, he would end up standing in front of him and getting knocked out by Tua.

Tua at his best was a good contender but nothing great or special. A great fighter like Bowe would have handled Tua very easily. Bowe wins this by wide UD and a complete shutout at that .Don't think he KO's David though, his chin would have been sturdy enough to withstand everything that Riddick threw his way for the full 12 rounds.:patsch BOWE wasnt close to great ! And TUA would knock him the fuck out ! :deal

Wow great response:roll:... you're an idiot. Coming from a goof who calls BOWE great ! BOWE wasnt a great puncher didnt have a great chin didnt fight great competion and didnt have a great defence ! In fact he avoided every big puncher from his time and got beat brain dead by the first decent big fighter he faced ! The only idiet here pal is you for calling BOWE great ! :deal

So a man who made his way to the title undefeated and beat a prime Evander Holyfuield doesn't qualify as great in that small little brain of yours?
Tua was beaten by any champ with good boxing ability, Lewis, Byrd, Ibeabuchi, and even Rahman who deserved to win that 2nd fight and was totally screwed in that 1st fight. So how the fuck would he beat a heavyweight champ with good inside and outside boxing ablility like Bowe?! BOWE didnt fight on the outside very good and fighting TUA on the inside gets him KOed because he never took a shot very well ! Get it ! BOWE was undefeated because he avoided big threats and got a gift in a fight with OLD TUBBS ! And no beating HOLY doesnt make you great ! :patsch Now run along kid and try thinking for yourself instead of spewing status quo ! :deal

You guys thinking Bowe would stroll to a victory like Lewis did need to re-examine things a bit
Bowe is extremely overrated in the boxing world and on ESB too. His purported greatness is all based on beating one fighter who he matched up perfectly against. He was not an intelligent fighter like Lewis was, nor was he an especially good outside boxer, and his defense was very suspect
There's a reason Bowe steered clear of big punchers his entire career. The way he ate leather against Holyfield and Golota would put him in big trouble against someone with the devastating power of Tua. And Bowe's total lack of defense and willingness to stand and trade especially on the inside would cause him serious trouble against Tua. He could outbox Tua, but Tua would have ample opportunities to land big, clean punches and do some damage and would have a solid chance at stopping Bowe
Bowe had a good chin, but it's one thing to eat punches against punchers Holyfield and Golota who in terms of top level heavyweights have no better than mediocre power, and David Tua. If Holyfield and Golota could get Bowe hurt and in trouble you can't say Tua couldn't do some serious damage or stop him, particularly with Bowe's average outside game and his tendency to neglect defense and slug it out

What makes you think that david could even get close enoughto test that chin
Because Bowe was a pretty average outside fighter and was often lazy with his jab, not to mention he wasn't a smart fighter. He routinely neglected defense and he preferred to slug it out and fight inside than outbox someone from range. Tua is better by a wide distance than anyone that Bowe fought aside from Holyfield and Golota, and he matches up better against Bowe than Holyfield because of his greatly superior punching power
Bowe's habit of neglecting his jab and slugging it out on the inside didn't hurt him against Holyfield because he matches up near-perfectly with Holyfield
What Riddick Bowe fight against a decent opponent indicates to you that he would consistently utilize his jab and outbox Tua from range like Lewis did? That's not who Bowe was, and this myth that he had a great jab or was anything more than an average outside fighter is just that, a myth. Bowe would let Tua get inside and would slug it out with him, because that's who Bowe was and that's how he fought, and that would give Tua an opportunity to land big shots at which point he would have a solid chance to win

Tua by KO. Bowe's style is made for Tua. Although he is big and tall, he fights on the inside. Bad move against the Tuaman.
