The jungle drums tell me Katsidis will fight in Jan against Angel "El Tren" Ramirez. Anyone know what Ramirez is like? boxrec says he lost to Graeme Earl and has mainly been fighting in Spain. Anyway good to see Mick back in action, I just hope he's been working more on defence, but am not fully convinced that changes will be made. Is he still with the same trainer?

I prey Mike can hire a half decent coach. Roach fits the bill imo.

Katsidis should dominate this bloke very easily...nice confidence boost ahead of another biggish fight.

I think freddie roach would be an awesome trainer for katsidis however i think he may stay with the same guy as he seems pretty well loyal to him

I'm glad he isnt taking on another top guy just yet. A win would be great for his confidence right now.

Thats a curious location for an Aussie and an Argie to be fighting..
I dont know about these second tier Argies...sometimes they can give you a real tough and awkward fight...sometimes they just straight up pike it.

katsidis should win this quite clearly, and yes earl did beat ramirez, but imo it could have gone either way(home town desicion)it was a great little scrap between earl and ramirez..but katsidis should score a ko!:good

"Manny" reasons for doing the fight in the Philippines. lol
It's the Pac sweepstakes. Kats wants to get to Manny as well it seems.

He should also be on the card on MArch in las Pinas. Good line up, which features two title fights. N. Donaire vF. Montiel, B. Viloria v U. Solis. D Diaz v R.Suico. Explosive night of boxing for the midget weights. I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. It'll be awesome.Mexico clean sweep IMHO.
