do you know why...becuase he is a esb poster.
he has beaten world class fighters what a load of bull
he said was ill and was a natural light heavy not a cruiser he s only trying to adapt to his wieght
and he wasnt losing it was a close fight anyways this was a style mix that had no advantages to darnell.
nwodo a jabbing moving hard chinned well tooled tall fighter somthing that wilson shouldnt be able to win....and he knocks out a guy who has an tested jaw.....not just knocked him out but that is ko of the year.
he is limited in the department of punches left hook righ thand and a decent jab. is the same arrey of tools that wlad is using, originaly a light heavy moved up to cruiser and is now a grown into his frame, amazing jaw, good counterpuncher, and isnt afriad to fightg yo uand go toe to toe.t he was a great amatuer...(knocked out jeff lacy and stopped )
and every loss was to a good cruiserwieght fighter...and after all that is mayube the most honest fighter in the game

:-((Not sure as to the point of this besides getting people to react angrily and give you attention..
The fact is that people generally LIKE him here because he is a fan-friendly cool guy. It's only natural that people will cheer for him and say he's going to win. There is no reason to try and bring him down just because you don't like the attention and support he is getting.

Even if he sucked (which he doesnt) people would still like himk here because he represents ESB and is a stand up guy. The guy is on an incredible hot streak right now, with his power and great chin he fight with the best of his division.

i like him aswel which is why i put yet when saying he aint beat class fighters
he seems down to earth and recognizes his ability
but seeing threads like him vs prime holy or comparing him an tyson is ludicrous

Exactly. I don't know why people would try to put him down - he's turned his career around and is on a roll. With his power and chin he is a threat to upset ANY of the titlists - particularly Maccarinelli, who doesn't exactly have the greatest set of whiskers.:yep

darnells power could stop evander thats the point he is limited but he shows somthing that fighters dont have and thats improvement
why i think sam peter is so talked about is his turn around abilty from untrained hammer lander to a puncher with a jab...miranda will get remembered.
but yea i get ya

hate all you want. u write yours, and i will write mine. thats the way the world goes pal. living in a free country is great.
And I can knock you out as soon as you'll stop running away:bbb . What is the point? The main idea of this forum is to discuss the fighters and share your opinion with the others. And if the fighter is a nice guy, like Ding, and he posts on ESB, it does not mean that he should be immediately idolized. I dont think that Ding himself likes a bunch of asskissers. I think that he will prefer to hear your honest opinion and prove you wrong in the ring, vs. hearing sloby praises even when he loses.

He is on a roll thats for sure and he earned it the hard way. He is about to get a title shot. When someone beats top contenders in an impressive fashion like Wilson did, people jump on the bandwagon. He would have fans here even if he didnt post here.

Amen brotha!!!
Ding is a great guy, who quite a few of us have become pretty cool with....I wouldnt care if he was 1-120-6, knowing him, I would still cheer for the guy.
Plus, he definately has beaten some good quality comp. Davis, Nwodo, Brown, Judah. All good to very good fighters. Plus, he can take just about anyones hardest punch, and most people cant take his hardest one...so who wouldnt favor that guy over most, if not ALL of the CWs out there!!
Do ya thing Ding!!!!

particularly Maccarinelli, who doesn't exactly have the greatest set of whiskers.
Really? He was knocked out in his 4th fight at 19 years old. Big deal, noone has done it since.
Braithwaite tagged him clean several times and he didn't go anywhere.
What exactly indicates that his chin is bad?

Maccarinelli said In Boxing news he was drunk the night before he was Ko'ed to why he lost to Swaby.

He may be overrated by some, but its hard not to like an exciting iron-chinned, power puncher who gives fan's value for the dollar and is working hard to get a title shot. A fair assessment on Ding right now is that he is one of the cruiserweight elite who is a legitimate threat to everybody out there...bottom line
"You seen Thomas or them since they got back from Ringside?"
not yet, were you there??

Yeah; I ran into Thomas in the store they had set up; hadn't seen the man for like a year at least and we still recognized each other right off the bat. :D So me and the guys (Thomas, Will, Andre, Demond, James, and Marlon) got to catching up and everything, good to see all of them. Thomas tore his bicep though; he lost in his second fight, but it was kind of bullshit.
BTW, I woulda been fighting Adamek on Oct 6 at the garden if he and/or his team didn't bitch out. I know some of you on here can't accept it but it's a fact. Don King really did like the fight and tried to make it happen, but I'm really dissapointed in team Adamek.
My promter has worked really hard to get this fight approved by a paticular santioning body as an eliminator. They are still working on it, but it seems as if Team Adamek doesn't feel that I'm just a club fighter like some of you insist.:deal
Right now I believe that King is trying to force the fight now, but it would be at a later date. If they don't get it made within the next few weeks, I may by fighting an opponent on oct 6 just to stay busy. I dont want that shit, I want the guys that people think are the best (Ring mag top 10).

Ding is killer at cruiserweight. Nwodo would have KO'd nearly any other cruiser on the night he fought Ding. He has found himself and has turned his career around from the days of his draws with Ludwamba (spelling) and G. Jones. He is for real. I've cashed in on his last 4 wins when he began his roll as a 4-1 underdog to Daniel Judah. I'm not ass kissing, it's what I really think about the guy. Chin, punch, and deceiving reflexes. He deserves the best fights he can get. And the fans will certainly enjoy them.:smoke

What bull.
19 kos in 22 wins! On paper and on tape his power is gruesome.
He is coming off 4 wins over players. Kevlin Davis is a former champ. Brown, in most peoples eyes beat Bell, a lineal champ. Judah only had one loss and Nwodo was BRUTALISED!
For his first 26 fights it is clear as day he wasn't what he is today. He got 5 loss and 3 draws out of those bouts. He has gone old school and reeled off 4 brutal wins over good comp.
No one here has said he is going to beat Mormeck, Haye etc BUT he is a top contender will the always dangerous punch.

I have criticism of Ding: he hits too hard for his own good. True he just about decapitates opponents when he lands a flush punch but he also puts so much leverage into his punches and throws himself off balance if he misses.

Since after the Dawson fight.
His contract was bought out by a Swiss/Polish company for $700,000.
He was at Adamek's last fight(probably still has some rights)but i think he was there for Golota.
