I've got nothing against Margo, but of the choices available he's accomplished the least

Margo by a mile. Hatton isnt overated though I do think hes underated in the skills department in a Duran sort of way. Taylor has fought B-Hop who is a one of the 2 craftiest fighters of recent years,Toney being the other, twice and beat him...TWICE! Then there was Winky whos up untiull being beaten by Hopkins was considered No.2 in many peoples P4P ratings. Then Kassim Ouma a blown up light-Middle that has an unbelievable punch output. Then Cory Spinks who runs like a muthafucka, pitter patters and is extremely akward. So I dont see how Taylor is overated.:good

And last but not least Joe Calzaghe. PULLEEEEASE stop it with the bullshit. Im not a big fan of his but he is one helluva fighter.:bbb

FMJ by a landslide. The guy is way overrated. Arguably lost to Castillo. SD against a shot ODLH. Had a pretty hard time beating Judah. simply put he is not as good as people think he is, especially at the weights he's been fighting at for the past few years...

Don't get me wrong i like Floyd but i can't stand all his fanboys who think he is god

Margo is the biggest hype job since Micheal Grant IMO.

Out of that list Margo. After all of the hype I have watched alot of his fights to see if there was a reason and I dont know where all this hype came from.:huh

On this forum the biggest hype job is definately Shannon Briggs.

Manny Pacquiao or Miguel Cotto especially Cotto his biggest win is over Zab Judah and cheated to win yet people are picking him to destroy Shane Mosley, Sorry I dont see it.

Out of those listed, Taylor for sure. He gets three gift decisions in a row, fights a couple of guys moving up from the lighter weights, and that's supposed to put him in the P4P top ten?? Hardlly.

No matter. Pavlik will rid us of this hype job next month.

Joe Calzaghe has around 20 defences of his tittle all though it has been mostly aganst second rate oponents.
Jermain Taylor has not been exciting but he has beaten some of the best boxers around.
Ricky Hatton is a big fight boxer.
Other than be the guy Mayweather is susposedly avoiding I'm not sure what Antonio Margarito has realy done.

Beating Hopkins twice put him in the top 10; as long as he keeps winning, he should stay there.

I see your point, but too many fighters have looked better in their fights since then. I'm not so sure being top 10 p4p is something that should be tenured in such a way that once you're in, you're in until you lose no matter how you perform. Honestly, I'd put guys like Cotto above Taylor at this stage because of that very reason.

It doesn't mean Jermain's not a world class fighter, but with a couple dozen high quality guys out there, I don't think he's defended his spot enough to stay top 10.

I really don't consider Taylor overrated because he has been getting a lot of criticism lately due to his recent performances and Ring dropped him out of the P4P list.

I'm not a fan of Taylor, nor do I think he will beat Kelly Pavlik, but I respect him for his willingness to take on the best. He holds two wins over B-Hop, drew with Winky Wright, and heas beaten former/current champions such as Joppy, Marquez, Ouma, and Spinks. He is a world class elite fighter who could beat anybody at middleweight. If anything, I would say he is slightly underrated by some.

Nobody thinks that like you Pac fans think of Pac.

I guess the threadstarter wasn't looking for a conflict, so he didn't include Floyd or Pac.

correct...This guys are P4P #1 and #2, how can you argue?:hey

On this forum the biggest hype job is definately Shannon Briggs.

Sheer lunacy to say this. The only person that believes Shannon Briggs' bullshit is Shannon Briggs and I know I do my damnedest to shred any notion of him as a competent, competitive heavyweight. Luckily, because few if any people hold this view, I don't have to work very hard at all.

The answer is definitely Hatton.

And the people who love Margarito love him for his destruction of B-level competition (plus Cintron) thus giving him the appearance that A-level fighters are scared to tangle with him. Not true, there's just no money in it.
