"Frankly" who cares what this man has to say? If he was promoted ANY of those fighters he`d be singing a diffrent tune. 1st he says Haye has a rumoured hand problem? Yeah suuuuure he does Frank all KO`s less one sure sounds like a hand problem to me. I dont know why the Sun let him write such drivel.

How can anyone possibly justify fwank actions? He is so negative towards 'other' fighters its unreal... The mainstream fans are now thinking Haye struggled with Barrett and has no chance at all against Klit meaning no one is wanting to look forward to the fight. Why cant he promote a fight like this, i for one am really excited for it. I give Haye a decent chance...

That said, Haye was floored legitimately against Barrett, he slipped BUT he was also punched and it should have been a KD
He finished the fight within a minute or so iirc so it was insignificant

Haye was put down by Barret. I thought ****** was ok in todays Sun. The tv issues over that fight will be a problem.
A fight with Hatton is not covered by Setanta's Top Rank deal. I guess the highest bidder will get the fight as they will want to make as much money as possible.

hatton doesnt own his on tv rights. he sells them fight by fight. in this case they are already taken, the fight will be on setanta.

I'd be £15 better off if you were right mate but I can't see it.
Hatton did 1.4m buys at £15 against Floyd, which is probably more than the value of the entire Top Rank/Setanta deal !
That clause reads more like a 'Hatton fight escape route' to me...

I think this will be on Sky PPV, its too big and too lucrative for everyone involved not to put this on PPV. It would easily do over a million buys in the UK. I dont think just because Top Rank have a deal with Setanta that it makes any diffence as it will be a co-promoted bout between Top Rank, Golden Boy and Hatton's own Promotional Company, Punch Promotions. Sky will bid an astronomical amount, as Steve Bunce conceded in relation to Hatton v Malignaggi.

Bet your life on this being PPV. Whether Arum pays Setanta "step aside money", gives them a few free fights instead or whatever. Theres no way the promotors are going to miss out 1,000,000 x £15.

That is why there was plenty of friction between him and ****** towards the end of their days working together.

yes quite right in fact the owners of setanta are just a sky franchise - sky were losing money on the prem plus so they did some magic & make a new channel called setanta where u get football golf & boxing & charge double the price as prem plus - how goods that - murdoch is a genius - so ye no doubt in my mind this will be on sky ppv ..

I dont see how it's double the price. Wasn't it about £6 per game on Prem Plus? Now there's about 6-8 prem games a month on Setanta.
