did anyone see the story on the front page of the paper this morning, it was confusing and poorly written but from what i gathered the police shot a woman and a guy was capsicum sprayed, he ran into an old ladys apartment and was later arrested,

they mentioned that the guy was a kickboxer and i saw a photo that looked like Sunny Boi, does anyone know if he used to do kickboxing?

I saw it on the news last night and said to the missus that looks like Sonny in the paddy wagon but thought his ponytail looked a bit long.
Didn't say anything about him being a fighter.

Supposedly now it states on boxrec that he was born & raised in Congo.

PERTH boxing promoter Craig Christian was detained at Perth Airport yesterday after $182,000 was found in luggage for an overseas flight.
Mr Christian, a long-time friend of Northbridge identity John Kizon, is understood to have been on his way to Bali when federal police took him in for questioning yesterday morning.

PerthNow understands that Mr Christian, 44, from Stirling, was questioned about $182,000 in cash allegedly found in luggage for the flight.

He had not declared the money on his immigration pass.

He was intercepted by Customs officers and Australian Federal Police when a baggage examination allegedly revealed wads of cash packed inside the bags.

An AFP spokesman said that during an examination of the man’s hold luggage, Customs officers found a large plastic bag containing cash hidden in a towel.

He said the officers discovered more cash concealed in Christmas presents and a large amount of cash was also located in the hand luggage.

Mr Christian was stopped for questioning, but was not arrested and no charges have been laid.

Under Customs regulations, air passengers must declare on their boarding card if they are carrying $10,000 or more while travelling.

The AFP spokesman said in a statement today that, on the man's outgoing passenger card, he had declared he was not taking more than $10,000 in cash out of Australia.

Customs officers referred the matter to the Australian Federal Police and the cash has been seized by police.

There is no limit to the amount of currency that can brought in to or taken out of Australia, but travellers must declare amounts of $10,000 or more in Australian currency or the foreign equivalent.

The offence carries a maximum penalty of two years' jail, a fine of $55,000, or both.
